BEST POSPECTS BEERMAN Queen Of South midfield is one of best Maltese pospects.... OSCAR BORG Oscar Borg plays for Aston Villa... You picked a team who's been on the rise a lot in the last couple of years and are gonna be a Europa League regular for the foreseeable future. The starting foreign players in the league are very good but i think in the next few years the foreign players will leave and lower quality ones will come in. Most important thing is to build up your scouting budget to scout further abroad, on FM14 i believe i was only allowed 5 Foreign players in the matchday squad, but i think now Malta have changed the rules and allowed more foreign players to play which will in the short term boost the chances of a bit of success in Europe. Once you start getting domestic success that's when it gets exciting as you can start recruiting top youngsters from leagues like Ivory Coast where they produce loads of talent. There is a good amount of Maltese talent too. I'd keep an eye on players like Sam Magri and Zach Muscat, if they get released by their clubs you may be able to get them to come to Malta in a few years time, and even if they're just back up they don't take up a foreign player slot so they're good to have in the squad. I used to make it on past and I didn't have good results, my tactict focus more in defense anyway and I had some amazing results with Liechtenstein with this tactic, I may use a, 5-3-1-1 in future but only as back up tactic.. I know them mate I watched them last 2-3 years (when they played in EL for first time) and I really like them, also I bet to them this year to win the league and they lost their advantage 2!! games before the end of the league.. As for Zach Muscat and Magri I would like to see them play outside of Malta because it will make good to national team too so if they can't find contract I will manage a club and sign them there,also I had see Hogg and Scembri here in Greek League and they are amazing players.. Yes rules have change and you can have 7 foreigns in match squad which is very useful..With national team if I can have decent qualifying campaigns with Liechtenstein I believe I can do it with Malta too because they have more depth in their national pool.. TRANSFER We sign as free agent Brimmer who is Maltese and played for Liverpool in past... INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS NATIONAL TEAM FRIENDLIES CALL UP This time we hadn't injury poblems... MALTA VS GEORGIA PRE GAME LINE UP GAME We played very good in this game but Mifsud took a stupid red card and we lost.But the appearance was much better this time.... MOLDOVA VS MALTA PRE GAME LINE UP GAME We had the win in our hands and lost it in last minute!!Anyway another good game from us and away this time... Scored some beautifull goals too.... FINAL 5 GAMES 5 games left and the most important is next one with Hibernians,winner logically will be the champion.... U BET FA TROPHY THIRD ROUND GAME We won Floriana in 3rd round. 4TH ROUND DRAW And draw with a second division club... 4TH ROUND GAME Another easy win here... QRT DRAW And again against a second division club for qrt final.And then.......... QRT GAME They stun us....I made big and needed rotation,we understimate them and it cost us....They should be very proud because in previous round they eliminate Hibernians!! OTHER NEWS TRANSFERS We had our first offer for one of our players,Portsmouth came for Ascroft our center back but their offer was very low and i turn it down..He was unhappy after that but with a new contract with bigger wages he will be ok... INJURIES Fenech is our biggest miss for now but he won't miss this important game for everything and he can play for 75 minutes against Hibernians in big derby! Sheriff7 Posted June 3, 2018 Author Share Posted June 3, 2018 END OF SEASON 2017/2018 BOV PREMIER LEAGUE LEAGUE TABLE MATCHDAY 26 (FINAL) SHEDULLE MARCH APRIL This is one of the times FM really pisses me off....We were unbeatable for 22 games but suddenly we just stopped playing in last two games!We couldn't hold the ball and our defense and attack were horrible,what ever i tried didn't work.Sometimes i believe whatever you do you are going to lose..... And this isn't the only thing!Suddenly my squad was unhappy with dressing room atmosphere,all these in a season we played amazing football and everything worked perfect until now.... Anyway i have to move on.... SEASON REVIEW BOB PREMIER LEAGUE LEAGUE TABLE RESULTS As you can see we had an amazing season with 16 wins,7 draws and 3 defeats but we lost it from Hibernians who are going to play in CL,We and Birkikara will play in EL(third ticket came from cup),St Andrews,Lija athletic and Tarxien(through play off) relegate...The big shock came from Valleta,they will not play even in EL next year!! Relegation play off Peta won Tarxien and took their place in Premier league. LEAGUE AWARDS LEAGUE BEST ELEVEN We had 4 players in league's best eleven.... Really i can't explain what hapened mate we did everything like we did all year(training,match preperation,opposition instractions) when game start we weren't in field,like it was a different team, we couldn't even hold the ball!It was one of the times "You have to lose"..Maybe my players relax i can't think something else.... INJURY Also we lost a key player. 2ND QUILIFIER LEG 2 FC BALZAN YOUTHS VS VADUZ FC PRE GAME LINE UP GAME Much better in second leg,we create many chances,had the ball possesion more time and we lost in last minute when we change our tactic to full attack.Anyway Europe finished for us this year.. MONEY PRIZE Money prize is very good BANK BALLANCE Our finances are great so.... FACILITIES We made our fist upgrade in our youth facilities.. PRE SEASON COMPLETE We worked in team cohesion in last weeks of pre season and played 2 friendly games. INJURY Good our best attacker is out.... FAROE ISLANDS VS MALTA PRE GAME LINE UP GAME We played very good against islands and didn't gave them any chance.A very comfortable 4-1 ,Schembri scored 2 goals and was our best player. NATIONAL TEAM UEFA NATIONS LEAGUE DIVISION D GROUP B NEXT GAMES (OCTOBER 2018) CALL UP No problems this time. MALTA VS SAN MARINO PRE GAME LINE UP GAME More difficult i was expected but we won this game and continue with another win.Rowen Muscat scored a beautifull goal and unlock San Marino's defense. GOAL MALTA VS FAROE ISLANDS PRE GAME LINE UP GAME Another win with clean sheet against Faroe's and without Schembri this time. UEFA NATIONS LEAGUE DIVISION D GROUP B NEXT GAMES (NOVEMBER 2018) We are 2nd in goal difference and next game away in Armenia should decide who will take first place. Here our's mate: I aks my board to upgrade our youth recruitment and now we have basic,also we already shedulle an upgrade to our youth facilities.. PLAYERS SCIBERRAS MAJDEVAC BRIFFA Those 3 young guys took the oportunity(injuries,bad performance) and now they are start 11 players for us,also their developement was huge. REGENS DATE Another bad youth intake for us i hope next year when our youth facilities upgrade will finish something better will come. BEST REGENS CALLEGA AZZOPARDI OTHER NEWS INJURIES Paul fenech injured again.. ASCROFT And Ascroft return after his serious injury last summer(7 months).
