[FM18] What do you call genetically modified corn? I suppose it's still corn-ish.

Great first half, poor 2nd half and we're agonisingly close to Welling and the final playoff spot and for those wondering where Tyler is, he's been injured for 6 weeks, 4 weeks with a groin strain and 11 days so far...with a groin strain.

So close to that elusive playoff spot. Here's hoping you can push over that line.

Thanks cerud. :)

I don’t understand why your youth recruitment is still listed as limited.  Starting in tier ten, I am now tier six and it is extensive.  Will your board just not back you?

I haven't asked to be honest, I wanted to keep a local, Cornish feel for as long as I can.

Of course it's going to the final game of the season, we're away to 14th placed Riseley Sports whereas Welling United are at home to Wootton, Chessington K.C also have a shot at the final playoff place and they face Wimborne Town away from home.

A solid month with just the one defeat yet we're still down in 10th although nobody has jumped ahead this season so far and we're still just 3 points off of 1st place. We scraped past Southwell City in the FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round and we face Accrington Stanley at home in the next round.

A more mixed month sees us lose the top spot we had for a game or 2 but we're still 5 points within the playoff zone as we near the halfway stage. We came close against Oldham in the FA Cup and broke a couple of records in the game though, which was nice.

Another almost perfect month, we got a late winner against Crowborough Athletic and came from behind to beat struggling Boreham Wood 2-1 but we couldn't get past Torquay United, the league is really hotting up now with just 2 points separating the top 4!

Have I missed something, wheres Tyler? no goals in a while it seems

Getting tight at the top now!!

Tyler's now making more appearances from the subs bench due to the growth of Lewis (yes I know Tyler still has a better rating :p)

I shouldn't have listened to the assistant in the benching of Tyler, or him insisting that Tyler fills in at MC, an injury to Lewis saw Tyler re-enter the first XI against St. Albans and he scores 5 goals and 4 assists in  236 minutes. We'll have a new assistant next season.

I'm still getting used to the six playoff places ;)

It does seem weird that you now only have to finish 7th to stand a chance of getting promoted.

Nope. 3 playoff appearances and 3 losses. Next season I'll be changing the assistant, we have 3 first team ready strikers who all should be playing so we'll be switching to a 4-3-3.

Going with 3 cf's next season? I've been doing that for a while, and score loads. It's keeping them out that's the problem for me

Most likely, the only problem I'm going to have is what to do with Terry Verburg and James Jones, my 2 wingers who've been doing well.
