[FM18] What do you call genetically modified corn? I suppose it's still corn-ish.

For the sake of your own enjoyability - perhaps they split into seperate clubs and well... never renamed :p

Imagine them meeting in the FA Cup. "Right lads this'll be easy, we're only facing our 5th team"

"Boss, they're 4 divisions ahead of us."

"Well how the bloody hell did that happen?!"

No FA Cup heroics as we lose out away to Wimborne Town in the 3rd Qualifying Round but a close to perfect month in the league sees us hit the top of the table! The highlight being Tyler scoring 4 against Welling United...and missing a penalty!

Another almost perfect month and we're still in 1st although Maidstone United could draw level if they win their game in hand, Tyler managed a 1st half hat-trick against Longwell Green Sports which helps bring him up to 28 goals from 22 appearances!

Making this look easy peasy!!

I could do with a Tyler through my academy soon

I'll send you my 3rd choice striker, he's not able to get any games at the moment!

At what point does a higher up club need to go "hey, that dudes scoring for fun, lets get him".

He's drawn interest from both Stockport County and Wigan, but no offers yet.

Good luck with the rest of the season mate. How do you think you'll do if you go up this time?

Thanks mate, hopefully mid-table next season, if we do go up!

Amazing.

Is Tyler an icon or legend yet?

Tyler is a legend, along with David Woodward (YP4k) and myself.

Poor again with just the 2 wins, our FA Trophy run has ended at the 3rd Round to Vanarama National side Cambridge City, in the league we drop to 4th but are still 9 points inside the playoffs which now has to be the aim, to stay in the top 7.

Wow, Hayes looks really good

Hopefully we can retrain him and then he'll definitely be an option on the flanks.

The tycoon is certainly helping a lot.

There's no way that we'd be able to keep our best players here without him.

Finally we've hit a good run of form! 4 games, 4 wins and now we most definitely will be getting a playoff place barring the most monumental cock-up.

Great recovery, well done mate :)

Tyler tried his very best to send us through but an own goal gave Hungerford the win, we just can't out score them at all! We'll be spending another season in the Vanarama South.

We've hit a rich vein of form and we've climbed all the way up to 2nd in the league and just 2 points off the top spot, but as you can see, there's only 4 points between ourselves in 2nd and Riseley Sports down in 12th.

Who are Battle Baptists? Which league did they begin in?

They started out in the 12th tier, got relegated to the 14th tier and in the 2020/21 season they finished in the lowest position they possibly could. It's been pretty much plain sailing since then though and they haven't even had a tycoon takeover.

There are some really great team names in England, hoping we get some more coming up the leagues in the future!

Oh, and here's their logo. :D

No automatic alt text available.

Battle Baptist Football Club is the only organised football team in historic Battle, in East Sussex.  The town is famous as the location of the Battle of Hastings in 1066.  The club was formed in 2005 by Battle Baptist Church members as a single team.  It has expanded rapidly in just over a decade, with three senior sides now competing across the East Sussex Football League and a growing youth section.  We now have almost 100 registered players, making us among the largest amateur clubs in the county – and we are still growing!

Although a ministry of Battle Baptist Church, players from all faiths and backgrounds are welcome and they all sign up to our code of conduct. Winning is important and we love to win, but we believe that doing our best and playing fairly are more important. BBFC encourages players, officials and spectators to enjoy football in whatever way they can.

In particular, the club encourages:

*A positive, friendly attitude to everyone involved in a football game, be it the opposition, their spectators or any of the match officials
*An exciting, creative approach to our style of play
*A real enthusiasm to develop football ability in terms of skill, technique, tactics and stamina.
*Opportunities for prayer, especially before each match
*A competitive but fair attitude, which means that yellow cards are rare and red cards are non-existent

We especially discourage:
*Deliberate foul play
*All forms of gamesmanship
*Arguing with match officials
*Inappropriate language of any kind
