It's unbelievable after the season we had last season and I think it's the first time that any club I've managed has been taken over by a tycoon! The downside is that players who have been offered a contract are on between £160 and £240 per week so we're currently spending £2,500 per week on wages. Nope Cowfold are one of a few clubs who've gotten some sort of reputation boost from back-to-back promotions and are 2nd in the Vanarama National but they're only 5 games into the season. Makoto Nakamura Posted April 22, 2018 Author Share Posted April 22, 2018 August 2028 A really good start to the season sees us through to the FA Cup First Qualifying Round but I don't see us getting any further as we face a tough Bath City side, it's also been a solid start to the league as we sit in mid-table with up to 2 games in hand. Makoto Nakamura Posted April 22, 2018 Author Share Posted April 22, 2018 September 2028 Bath City went 3-0 up within 10 minutes and that's how it stayed for the next 80, we're lucky that we've had Emmanuel Appiah stepping up, he's not really featured in the first team for 4 seasons now but with the previous seasons of the squad being torn apart I couldn't just release him, and now he's the only one getting us points. It is quite annoying but our players are nowhere near the level needed to even compete at the top end of this division, you can see what my best 11 is in the end of season reports, in comparison here's the media best 11 of the league, entirely made up by Illogan RBL players and Plymouth Argyle Reserve players. It will be interesting to see how Illogan get on in the 8th tier!
