ATM 343 is the top formation and only MIDSOMER 442 P103 close to the 343 performance

PILGRIMAGE is good for sub top BLUE MATTER for underdog and WOF 2323 for high scoring. Not saying these are ultimately best but added a little bit of variety

hey knap. I've been looking at most of your threads and such to try and figure out the plethora of tactics you've posted and try to find a system of  tactics to use with my Dortmund side in the 3rd season.

I started using your tactics in the middle of my last season which was my 2nd one.

I used 343 Blue Matter as my home tactic - used as a favorite, at home against everyone except Bayern in the league and away vs lower sides.

I used 343 ARGUS as my away tactic - mostly used away in CL or vs the big, big sides, it worked wonders for most parts, I thrashed Man Utd in the groups 4-1 in one of the first games I tried your tactic, and then later beat Bayern 6-3 at home in the league using it. I did however lose 2-4 away to PSG using it and couldn't run it back in the home game using the 343 Blue Matter, won 2-1 but it wasn't enough.

I then use your SUS tactic posted in the ASH thread.

Now it's been going well and was insane in the beginning when I used it last season, first like 12 games I rocked everyone and included in that was the Man Utd results and Bayern, I thrashed lower sides, getting a 10-0 win even, I did have a huge hiccup after Bayern game where I played Leverkusen away and lost 0-3 where I did use ARGUS again. And it did seem to be a very dominating system of tactics, the Blue Matter seemed to work super well as favorites and ARGUS really god me some results against the truly big teams.

This season started pretty solid but it's been a little less dominating. I'll scrape by 1-0 wins maybe, even had two draws in the league and vs Valencia in the CL. But overall the system works pretty good.

I did want to ask if you had any advice for tweaks that won't screw too much with the tactics. Since I feel the SUS is pretty solid I'm good on holding onto a league but how would you chase a goal ? it feels weird to go to the Blue Matter tactic to chase a goal because it's more of a slow build, but ARGUS doesn't seem to help either - it's rock solid as a tactic vs better sides away from home but it doesn't seem to pile on the pressure mid game when trying to grab a goal.

Also, when using either tactic would changing the mentality around a little depending on opponent change much? This would mostly be something like using ARGUS away in a CL tie where I don't want to concede but would love to grab some away goals, would going to control or counter be something you'd advice ? Again just some pointers if you have them for trying to get a goal in a game, either if it's 0-0 at like 60th minute or if you go down a goal or two early on.

Thanks for all the work on tactics, they work a treat overall but I love having more insight if possible.

Like the SUS tactic you can change to a lower risk with Control or Counter or by stopping WB runs to defend.

WOF 2323 is a very high scoring tactic to use to try get a goal or BLUE MATTER 415 which is very top heavy in attack.

The problem with high tempo and high risk 9overload) is that you lose the ball.

Don't forget about using subs to try and change game or trying right striker on left

I've always used strikers on the opposite side of their preferred feet; is this wrong?

If you watch how they move it is to the wings and then cross, so very much looking for the space on wing. Opposite side will have them cut in into the defence. Try it both ways round but generally right on right.

'343 is the top formation' - which one of your 343's?

All the tactics should work for a top team. What I look for is a maximum of 3 poor games in the 38 league game. This gives a range of 105pts and above with a tam like Arsenal.

343 is very great.
None of the other tactics can be counterbalanced by 343.
So when online warfare,All the players use in the game is 343,It's very monotonous.
Is there a way to beat 343? Don't just let a tactical rule game.
please think of a way, thank you!

The top 343 is ARGUS WITH 385 pts

MIDSOMER 442 is the first non 343 tactic at 349pts.

I have just seen somebody post beating Man City with a League 2 side 3-0. So 343s have giant killer qualities.

The best I saw last year was somebody winning the F A Cup with FC United when in the National league with GOODBYE 3430.

From the list above the BLUE MATTER P105 is the top version.

Maybe use BLUE MATTER at Home and ARGUS 343 Away.

Hey Knap,

Sorry to be a pain but when you say Argus 343 for away matches is that the P102 version?
