Slipky
A dutchman in Sweden. I've decided I should write about my attempt to get back into FM18 again, this time with a very unusual team pick for me, and a new country that I've never really managed at. Dennis Averkamp, 38, takes over the vacant managerial spot in IK Sätra, an amateur team playing at the fifth tier of Swedish football. They aren't exactly a leading team. But so far I've managed to raise the Junior Coaching (Now: Fairly Basic) And Youth Recruitment (Basic). The club also aims to turn Semi-Pro after I requested it successfully. Here's the first intake: Pretty happy with it. Svensson looks insane for this level. Wow! Personalities sucks though, most of them anyway. I'll keep you posted with a season review after we're done with it, stay tuned!
Slipky
END OF FIRST SEASON Pretty solid. We were expected to be relegated but we made everyone admit they were wrong by reaching a top-half finish. Great season overall.

Slipky
A Dutchmen in Sweden - The Relaunch! Högaborgs BK - Swedish Second Division West Götaland - 2018 Dennis Averkamp, resigns from IK Sätra, after failing to agree on a new contract with the chairman. It didn't take long for him to be noticed by Högaborgs BK, a newly promoted side, playing in the fourth tier. THE SQUAD I'm pretty happy with that. It's a young, solid squad. Unfortunately, my leading striker is leaving to Denmark after securing a contract I couldn't match. Shame. At least I can test some youth strikers, hopefully one will break the glass ceiling and break through to the first 11. PAST SEASON I still find it hard to believe. We proved everyone what a team we are. It was an amazing run towards the end that got us the title with one game remaining. Youth intake was terrible, nothing to see. FACILITIES Stay tuned for more

Slipky
A Dutchmen in Sweden - The Relaunch! Högaborgs BK - Swedish First Division South - 2019 YOUTH INTAKE! Really happy with this intake. Persson stands out as the star of this intake. Jan Jacobsson is also a fine addition to our defensive midfield. LEAGUE We managed to avoid the drop! Great run towards the end helped us. Nothing magnificent, even lame - But we survived for another year. FACILITIES Really happy with the Junior Coaching and Youth Recruitment. Training and youth facilities are upgraded as this is written too AIMS FOR NEXT SEASON - Less stressful season, avoid relegation earlier - Going pro - Improve the players that broke through the ranks to the senior squad. Slipky
A Dutchman in Sweden - The relaunch! Högaborgs BK - Swedish First Division South - 2020 LEAGUE Finally won it, with two games to go. Youth prospects played a huge part this season, being responsible to a mighty amount of 65 goals out of the 82 scored this season. We also had the best defense this year, quite amazing compared to the dull 11th place we got to last year. Alos won Manager Of The Year. Nice achievement. SWEDISH CUP We progressed two rounds, winning against 2nd tier team Trelleborgs FF after a 120th minute goal. I almost woke up the whole house. Waiting on the group stage draw. FACILITIES Finally, extensive recruitment and exceptional junior coaching. SQUAD REVIEW HÖGABORGS BK ACADEMY PROSPECTS Viktor Andersson - Class of 2018 Attacking midfielder I turned into a striker this season, this guy managed to bag 23 goals and 9 assists to his name. Attracting interest from high profile clubs, including Helsingborgs and Hammarby. Look at that list of interested clubs: Björn Svedberg - Class of 2018 Another prospect from the 2018 intake. Nothing amazing here, but he keeps providing great numbers, providing 19 assists and 6 goals this season. Emanuel Petterson - Class of 2018 A hidden gem, this RB took over the starting RB position after proving himself worthy at the beginning of the season. Excited to see how this guy is going to develop. Amazing physical stats too Jan Jacobsson - Class of 2019 My favorite defensive midfielder. Coming from the youth ranks last season, he managed to play 29 games this season, keeping an average rating of 7.66, while scoring four goals and assisting ten more. Expecting a lot from this guy, despite his low determination. Lennart Persson - Class of 2019 After 3 goals and 1 assist in 6 games last season, Persson went into "monster mode" and scored 21 this season, while assisting another 11. While playing in the U21s he scored 62 and assisted 17 more. AMAZING. One of my favorite players and a gem I would like to try keeping. Daniel Birgersson - Class of 2020 This cracking striker came through the ranks this year and scored five goals and one assist in nine league games. Expecting a lot from this guy.
