From the 14th tier to Munich to back at Everton

After getting sacked in my Hull save, I have decided to do my first ever no transfers save where I am forced to rely on my youth academy. The team I will manage in this save is, five time FA Cup winners, Wanderers F.C. the first ever winners of the FA Cup and the first team to win it three times in a row. They currently play in the 14th tier of English football. I have already completed my first season. In the first season I won promotion to the 13th tier via winning the league and won both cups we were entered in. I used the editor to make Wanderers F.C. a Professional club with the best possible training and all the youth facilities. Everything else I left untouched.

Edit: After 47 years at Wanderers, 10 seasons at Everton and an average spell in Germany I now find myself back at Everton in the year 2081.

End of season 5:

Unfortunately my two best players refused to sign new contracts and will leave on a free. The better one turned down Real Madrid to join Celtic in Scotland and the club's top all time goal scorer (130 goals in 103 games) joined their rivals Rangers.

I just lost against City 5-2 at their ground. I think the scoreline was harsh as they scored with their first 5 shots on target, although we didn't help ourselves by going down to 10 men after 19 minutes and conceding two penalties.

For the first time in the Football Manager I finally got a stadium named after me. I just wish I named myself something funny like Scroty McBuggerballs or at least  something better than my initials. This is the best player that has come through my academy so far. I regret selling him for £600K. On the plus side, if City sell him, I will get 40% of the profit.

End of season 17:

We came so close winning their first FA cup since 1878. Unfortunately we lost to defending champions Tottenham 3-0 on penalties, after a 1-1 score after extra time. Despite losing, we did very well especially since we conceded first and played the whole of extra time with ten men. Not to mention we are a second tier team against the holders and a Premier League team as well.
