Okay, now is the right time to start. (I'll add the Dutch competitions as view only, but of course that won't disrupt the meaning of this little news bulletin)

Transfers, results, injuries, the national team, you name it! It'll all be covered right here, right now. Will the worst competition of the world step up to the play and become less of a humilation? We'll find out shortly, after the commercial break that will probably last ages.

Things I will be covering:
-The three Micronesian competitions (PL, Cup, U20s)
-The OFC Champions League
-The OFC Nations Cup
Things I will not be covering:
-Everything else, don't wanna have clutter. I'll search for tidbits if you ask for it though.

2016 - Week 30

First setback Weloy Strikers
Going with the theme of strikers, 25-year old Liam Jones has unfortunately damaged his neck during a training session and will be out for 5 weeks. This will hold him back from getting into the proper rhythm for when the season is starting out.

First cup draw sees two highly rated teams face off
In the first draw of the revived Micronesian Cup, the clubs that are predicted to end in 1st and 3rd in the Premier League, International and Fanif, will battle it out for a place in the semi finals. Every football fan on the island group should be interested to see how the match pans out, and will most likely find their way to the Yap Sports Complex come November.

The other draws include:
Island Pitbulls - Weloy Strikers
Nimgil Youth - Island Chihuahua
Nanmohs VB - G&B Club

2016 - Week 32

Luke Murphy last new man to join the fray
One day late for the photoshoot, 32-year old Luke Murphy has decided on penning down a contract at G&B Club, after a few difficulties regarding the low income he's not keen on getting. The photo will be taken again along with the captains of the teams when the first few matches are bound to begin.

Sprained wrist goalkeeper cause for concern for the Chihuahuas
The predicted first goalkeeper for Island Chihuahuas, Roger Truong, has been sidelined for about 12 days for spraining his wrist during training. This raises the question who will be under the post for the season opener. seeing as they have two keepers below the age of 18, excited to give off a big signal to manager Robertson.

Players reluctant on moving on already
Just a few weeks after the transfer window opened, many a team has tried to get their hands on young prospects that have the potential to become a success. A spokesperson of the competition's federation was interviewed on the matter: 'Fun, isn't it? These new clubs already show signs of meaning serious buisness and it makes all of us very proud. Can't wait for the first person to take a risky step!'

2016 - Week 33

Weloy Strikers hits new injury woe
While not as much of an influence as the unfortunate Liam Jones, who has yet to come back to the fields, youngster Tom Joel has been struck by a virus and will be out for one week. With just two weeks to go after that untill the season kicks off, the Strikers might not be able to field their best team in both the regular and U20s competition.

2016 - Week 34

International not safe from opening day worries
The coincidentally named Stephen King has pulled his hamstring during training, reportedly 'breaking down' after making a sliding on a team mate while playing out a small 7v7 friendly. Chances for the 28-year old midfielder to show up for Matchday 1 are now extremely slim.

Pundits predict G&B Club to set the league alight
SportPesa has announced their annual title odds, and upon close inspection, a suprising name has been whispered around to become the first crowned champion of the competition. International, first hinted to hit the top 3, would be fighting away to avoid last place along with Nimgil Youth, while the Chihuahuas and Pitbulls are neck-on-neck for position 3 and 4.

2016 - Week 35

Second injury Island Chihuahuas means first definite no
Youth player Martyn Davis will be the first player to completely miss out on the first month of the PL, after suffering a sports hernia. Reports say he's eliminated for the coming 5 weeks, after which he needs to get himself fit for the U20s competition, where he'd most likely get more experience than what he would get on the big scene.
