Daveincid
Before I start: This is my first attempt for a documented FM-Save. Any suggestions are appreciated. I'm Swiss, and my english isn't the best so if you don't understand something please let me know. The Setup: For a maximum of realism - All countrys are playable and the detail level for all international and continental competitions are on max. Thanks to claasen for his megapack! The Club: RSC Anderlecht The philosophy: RSC Anderlecht is known for its good youth recruitment. I wanna continue this way. Belgium has a high amount of citizens from francophone Countries in Africa. So my focus on transfers will be mostly african Nations (Especially DR Kongo, Morocco, Ivory Coast and Ghana). - One Goal is a good mixture of homegrown talent and African youngsters. - A high determinded and professional squad is my key to success -> Tutoring the players to Model Citizen, Model Professional, Perfectionist, Resolute or Professional - buy cheap, sell high The Coach: Cheick Massama is the perfect example for the culture in Belgium. Born and raised in Kinshasa (DR Congo) moved to Belgium for a professional career as footballer. After an injury he was forced to quit his dream and looking for a new goal. After several Jobs in the youth academy of RSC Anderlecht he was named as the new head coach of the season 2017/18. Make RSC Anderlecht great again! Daveincid
The Squad: A good overall level of ability. Olivier Deschacht, Sven Kums, and Nicolae Stanciu have a very good Personality. Daveincid
Tactics: We will play an offensive 3-4-1-2 System. Every player will play in his best role in his Position. If a player cant play the Position, I will try to retrain him, if it doesn't work he get's sold. Cheers Daveincid

Timetxu
Good luck. I like Anderlecht because my favourite team Roda has always had a good trade relationship with them, loaning players to and from them. We're having Jorn Vancamp on loan at the moment, I'm curious to see how he'll develop in your save once he comes back in the summer of 2018

Daveincid
Preseason: - The Focus in preseason was to get my team familiar with the style I wanna play. The second point was to improve our teamspirit. So the results were secondary. -Results were quite good, especially the high amount of chances we created made me happy. -Best Player during preseason was Lukasz Teodorczyk. The Top-Goalscorer from last season is already in a good form. - hard standing in my Squad has Emmanuel Adjeh Sowah. He's a really talented right wing back. but he's unable to play as a RM. He could be the first victim of my system if he fails to adapt. - Dynamics Match Cohesion improved quite good as well as the dressing room atmosphere. But i still need to convince my squad that i really wanna make RSC Anderlecht great again and they are a part of it. Cheers Daveincid
Daveincid
First official game: Supercup RSC Anderlecht v SV Zulte Waregem We are definetly the favourites. So I will start with more offensive players from the beginning. Well will see if it works.... Startup Result First title for RSC! RSC Anderlecht 5:2 SV Zulte Waregem Highly risky play. There is only one way....Attack!. Our high pressing-tactic combined with quick short passing delivered exactly what I expected so far. Our biggest weakness is and will be our defense. The goal is to optimize our defence without reduce our Power in front of the opposition goal. Lukasz Theodorczyk is a beast! Cheers Daveincid
Daveincid
Shock!! Jupiler Pro League 1. Round: RSC Anderlecht 3:5 KAA Gent We played again only in one way....they made counter-attacking-based tactic in perfection....The pressure already increases. When i dont succeed with my tactics I will get fired quickly. System change? Out of question. Other players? maybe? Or again....should I change the system? difficult questions with currently no answer... Cheers Daveincid
Daveincid
Jupiler Pro League 2. Round: RSC Anderlecht 3:1 Sporting Lokeren I decided: No system-change! Lukasz Theodorczyk saved my a***! Sporting Lokeren had massive troubles with our offensive-play. In the end it was a highly deserved victory which gives me confidence in my plans. Cheers Daveincid
Daveincid
Jupiler Pro League 3. Round: FC Royal Antwerpen 3:2 RSC Anderlecht Ouch! Dominated, but our central defender Josué got his second yellow card in the 64th minute.....they scored the following penalty and it was 2:2. I was forced to take my attacking midfielder off the pitch so we werent that dominant in midfield anymore, which is key in this tactic. So it was just a matter of time and they scored the 3:2 in additional time.... Cheers Daveincid
Daveincid
Jupiler Pro League 4. Round: RSC Anderlecht 3:0 KV Kortrjik A very important victory! We didn't played that well as the result says. Kortrjik had several chances and they hit the bar twice! But I'm happy that this time luck was on our side! Cheers Daveincid
Daveincid
UEFA Champions League Group Stage Draw: We got a very tough group with Juventus, Dormund and Feyernoord. But I am happy to play in the Signal Iduna Park and also vs Feyernoord from our neighbour nation Netherland. I hope we can achieve the 3rd. place to continue playing in the UEFA Europa League. Cheers Daveincid
Daveincid
Jupiler Pro League 5. Round: RFC Mouscron-Péruwelz 2:2 RSC Anderlecht RFC is the current leader of the League. So we were quite careful with more defensive players this time. It was a close fight. We were looking for the decision in the last minutes. Our extra-effort wasn't successful. First rumours for a new head coach took place in the media.... Cheers Daveincid
Daveincid
Jupiler Pro League 6. Round: RSC Anderlecht 1:5 KV Roter Stern Waasland 2 red cards against us, primitive defending 1:5 the result...nothing more to say... Daveincid
UEFA Champions League Group Stage Game 1 Borussia Dortmund 3:1 RSC Anderlecht I was so happy after the draw to play in Dortmund. It was an absolute nightmare......Dortmund dominated, missed a penalty, had like a thousand clear cut chances IMO and deserved the victory. Problems continue. Now two easier games ahead vs Mechelen in the League and Oud-Heverlee Leuven in the Crocky Cup....Well if we are still manager... Cheers Daveincid
Daveincid
Jupiler Pro League 7. Round: KV Mechelen 2:2 RSC Anderlecht 2 times behind, 2 times we came back. Well a draw vs a relegation candidate isn't that what I hoped for....but at least my team had something like morale. I feel a bit like Peter Bosz during his time in Dortmund. Cheers Daveincid
Daveincid
Croky Cup 6th Round: Oud-Heverlee Leuven 3:4 RSC Anderlecht What a game! Daveincid
UEFA Champions League Group Stage Game 2: RSC Anderlecht 2:10 Juventus Turin After the 2 wins we were quite optimistic ahead this game. A point would have been fantastic. In the end well wha should i say...I am speechless. It was not that bad as it looks (Seriously! no Joke....ok I'm laughing too. lol). I have never seen a team to be so effective than Juve in this game. Absolute astonishing! My biggest loss by far since I play FM back in 2013! Does anyone know if there exists a hall of shame? Or will I get banned from the forum for this? lol Cheers Daveincid

Daveincid
Jupiler Pro League 9. Round: KRC Genk 4:2 RSC Anderlecht Rehabilitation for the loss vs Juventus was the plan....enough is enough! Our defense has more holes than Emmenthaler (famous swiss cheese). I will change my system completely. we need 4 defenders...3 is too much a risk at this point. I hope its not too late for a change. Daveincid
New Tactic: Player roles are still individual and not fixed. Daveincid
Jupiler Pro League 10. Round: RSC Anderlecht 4:4 FC Brügge This is a joke....a f......joke! we're leading first, equalizer, in front 4:2 until 83th minute....then they scored 2 goals....We dominated them almost the whole game....at least the team seems to be more stable. A good point is that the other teams are as constant as we are...so Europa League is still possible. Cheers Daveincid
