Thanks again to @claassen's excellent leagues and with inspiration from both @Dev'o and @abirdc's current Oceanic careers, here I am with a new save. An Oceanic Journeyman.

Every league in Oceania loaded but with Australia down to the 3rd tier loaded as well. Why load Australia? I hear nobody ask but I may as well answer anyway. Well, it's because I want to load a league that would be a 'gateway' league to the bigger countries and one day I could be managing in the small island nations and the best players will want to leave to New Zealand and then the best players in New Zealand will move on to Australia. I'm loading it for the players benefits really!

And here's the player count, everyone in Oceania plus players from the top clubs of every continent, this is to keep the Club World Cup more realistic and ensures that if and when I qualify for the Club World Cup I won't be playing against a team of just grey players.

Aims

No aims really other than to enjoy the save, I've become accustomed to 85+ game seasons in Brazil so seasons should go even faster here!

I'd like to be able to work my way to a job in New Zealand and win the Oceania Champions League with a New Zealand team and then, to make it more difficult, win the Oceania Champions League with a non-New Zealand team.

The absolute pinnacle of the career would be to win the Club World Cup before the year 2250.

This will be a journeyman so I'm free to move clubs whenever and I also want to reach (and dream of) breaking the glass ceiling of reputation since the ASB Premiership, New Zealand's top division is 2* reputation with the next best being Fiji's Galaxy Premier League at 1* reputation.

 

I'll be starting unemployed as a Tongan Makoto Nakamura due to Tonga being the lowest ranked FIFA affiliated side at the start of the game ranked at joint 205th with the plan of eventually using my reputation to bring Tongan regens through at the continents bigger sides.

I'll be starting unemployed but looking for a job in Micronesia due to their league being the lowest ranked playable league in Oceania, 27th out of 32.

Of course we have next to no facilities, this is Micronesia, the nation that conceded over 110 goals in just 3 games.

Thanks Daz, pfft if I won the Tongan league then it'd go to 15 games with the preliminary round of the CL with the absolute max of 26 games per season with winning the CL and winning the CWC! :lol:

We beat Outer Islands and they capitulated and now it's very close between the top 5, with Gagil miles behind at the bottom. Now we don't play a game until July where we'll be taking part in the Yap Games which is basically the island cup. We also brought in a player from Fanif in May.

That was close but we're through to the Semi Final where we face Maap. If I wasn't instant resulting games then the match against Outer Islands would've been a heart-stopper.

4-0 down until the 74th minute, bring it to 4-4 in the 91st, they score in the 94th and then miss penalties in the 96th and 97th!

Matches this season take place from 9th April and the last one is on October 28th so a 6 month season in Micronesia and I don't holiday, just press continue. :)

2018 Pre-Season
