SixPointer
First round of SPL fixtures in. Solid enough start two defeats Kilmarnock the back ups played to allow the first team to rest for Olympiakos. Away at Hamilton we missed chance after chance. Massive wins against Aberdeen then Hibernian in the Edinburgh derby both having very good seasons thus far. Massive comeback against Celtic is the pick of the results. 0-0 at Rangers is good enough even if they have started shaky. Cutting back on screenshots on every game as I feel its limiting game time so ill pick on game per update. Trailing at the break Ali Crawford replaced young Evans and picked the Celtic defence apart Will Keane steals the head lines but it was Crawford that changed the game. Nice to be recognised from the lads! The league table after a the first round of fixtures. Hibernian bought well in the summer has really boosted them. Aberdeen and Kilmarnock started great as well Rangers off the pace for now. Celtic are rejuvenated after a heavy summer spending. Treble is off as Rangers put us out used the kids/backups sad to see treble go but no the end of the world. Poor champions league campaign should have done better at home against Lazio and Spurs. We salvage something against Zenit. Zenit were worse than us and that see us through to Europa league and European football after Christmas. Tough draw but If we play to our best we can do it! Home advantage will play a big part aim for clean sheet then attack in the Ukraine! We use the champions league money for a couple of upgrades. Bad news for Lewis he flying big chance for Harry Cochrane now!

Couldn’t agree more! Scores most of his goals in the box for me. He is good on the shoulder but he can come and play deep lying as well! If he keeps up this ratio till the end of his days he will break Robbo’s goal record 214 as it stands

SixPointer
Big News In British Football Fulton is appointed Northern Ireland manager. Paul Lambert qualified with Scotland so Fulton jumped at the chance as he felt the Scotland job was out reach. A poor Euro qualifying campaign has led to the sack of Michael O'Neill even though there is a play off semi final against Bosnia to play. World cup qualifying group could have been a lot worse! Portugal and Switzerland will be tough but have to fancy ourselves against Finland, Lithuania and Liechtenstein. Fulton inherits a slightly aging squad but coming into there prime with Bosnia being the last chance at another major tournament. Carson, Evans, Brunt and Cathcart are all in there 30's everyone else bar Saville and McNair are 28. Ethan Galbraith and Richard Campbell are a couple of youngsters to get excited about though! metallimuse
Think I had a wee go with N.I. on last years game but due to the gap in fixtures after the Qatar WC I 'managed' them but didn't play a single game for over 7 months and quit. Decent wee squad though. Had a pop managing Portugal in my save to play around with wingers but took them to the WC 2030 & lost to Peru and Mexico (beat Italy) & got sent home

SixPointer
Second round of fixtures complete and a extra game got carried away a little. An almost perfect round of fixtures. Patrick Thistle profiting from our poor finishing. Battering the old firm both are quality results along with arch rivals Hibernian who are in the title race this season also. Young Chris Donaldson got himself a debut goal. Will Keane banging them in and Josh Windass has kept Christie and Crawford out the side with his great form which led to a sale down south Christie has since capitalised. Morgan has been his usual sensational self. Kyle Hamilton, Darren potter and Donaldson have impressed in chances given to them. Pick of the games. The league table looks like this 6 point cushion is reasonable at this stage but we cant become complacent with Celtic chasing close. Hibernian have really kicked on this season Fraser Hornby and Bakary Sako are flying for them. Rangers cant seem to get going this season. The kids take care of business in the Scottish cup with two great victories. The fact that there both clean sheets is very pleasing when you take into account the age of the keeper and back four. Smith (17) Nairn (17) Finlayson (19) Hamilton (17) Potter (18) outstanding for there age. Donaldson has been brilliant as well he has played league games when Keane had a knock and for me is now back up striker. The form of the kids was kicked of with a tour of Holland at the winter break were we mixed them over a 4 game period with the first team. again no goals conceded you can see why I have shown faith in them. Big task up next for the kids Parkhead but great experience for there growth. This can only help the youth as well bright future in the Scottish capital at Tynecastle. SixPointer
We Crash out of the Europa league. Demolished in the end but flatters them. Berra couldn't cope with Guidetti who was on his debut! 3 late goals killed us! With the tie more or less over I gave some kids a opportunity David Reid snapped it up with two hands. Alex smith in goal also had a blinder. What a game what a result! Young Richard Campbell 4 goals on his debut!! Boom disaster strikes!! am just over it now and trying to play on tonight. Fingers crossed we can get past it.

SixPointer
We start on international duty after the crash dump! Not quite the game it was before but we are threw! Campbell still got his debut goal but wasn't quite the 4 before the crash dump. Solid team performance from the boys. Massive night at Windsor park we are favourites! They went down to ten and sat in the whole game and scored with there only real shot we on the other hand just couldn't get it in the net. Disappointed even though I hadn't considered this a aim to qualify but gave me some positives for future campaigns. Creeping up the rankings. Friendlies that are lined up for the rest of the year. All the home nations involved. Will be using these games to bring threw some young players as well as knitting the tactics etc. for the world cup qualifiers. SixPointer
The kids take a beating at parkhead a learning curve for them though and I promised to use them in both domestic cup. A connection to china! Hopefully send us some money! Final round of fixtures complete before the split and we give up our massive lead at the top with a shocking run. Losing our unbeaten run to Celtic we then bounce back with a unreal 7-0 away at Dunfermline then lost 6-0 at home to St Johnstone how does that even happen! Was the start of a horrendous run I take the blame is I took my eye of the ball by paying to much attention to Northern Ireland! Game of the round was easy! The league table looks like this going into the spilt with our drop in form its made it tight with Celtic!

SixPointer
Youth Intake Day Better intake this year ending up signing 5 we have an abundance of you talented strikers at the club now. Wicked partnership to be formed here I reckon. Alexander (top) is more suited to our first team role just now but I definitely believe Fox can be moulded into the position as well future is bright upfront. Donaldson and Reid will more than likely move to seniors next season now. Liam Ritchie has strong mental's and a decent personality needs work but there is something in there. Cummings wasn't signed right away due to his personality but hoping berra can bring him on. Hamilton will be first team squad this season so these two come at a good time to get a chance. Bryan McLeod for me is the pick of the bunch look at the aggression teamwork and work rate coupled with good physicals at 16 and some already handy technical attributes will push Nairn for the right back spot in the 20's

SixPointer
Tight at the top! One point in it same goal difference same fixtures!! Bad timing to lose the number one young Alex Smith will have to step up! Good Split from us massive win at Celtic Park and a two late goals against Partick Thistle and Rangers could well be the ones that win us the title. Celtic collapse in the split losing to Partick Thistle and us at home!! The key game at Celtic Park Young Alex Smith had a blinder and that man Keane does his usual! I think over the course of the season we were the best apart from that small drop in form we were on top for the most of the season! Back to back titles in the bag. Final league table Rangers dropped off this season. Partick Thistle had an outstanding season. Rivals Hibernian tailed off after a great start. Poor season from Aberdeen and St Johnstone. Two teams relegated gives us two new teams to go up against in Falkirk who won the championship I place close to Steve Fulton's heart as he was under 18's manager there and Motherwell join them. SixPointer
Season Review And Awards Reviews A mixed season after our domestic treble last season was always going to be a tough task to match. Champions league football for the first time was tough 3rd place was acceptable thrashed in the Europa wasn't acceptable! Quarter finals off both cups not good enough but we did go out to the old firm in both of them. Domestic reviews so everyone can see how it went. United take the Champions league though Ronaldo still performing at the ripe age of 35 at the highest level. Leverkusen take the Europa back to Germany for the second time in there history. Two good ranking boost in terms of European football for the Scottish game. Awards Morgan again outstanding deserving of both fans and young player of the season guys been sensational. Palmer gets signing of the season have disagree with that I would have choose Ryan Christies think for a period in the middle of the season he was the best in form player. Macleod is a screamer but I cant get to grips with making a gif. 7 in the team of the year how Morgan hasn't made it in is beyond me! Delighted to see young Harry Cochrane getting the nod. Sinclair pips Morgan to the footballer of the year Keane gets a mention as well. Back to back top goalscorer for keane 23 this season less than the 28 but 7 assist compared to the 2 so can be happy with that. Also back to back football writers young player of the year for Morgan cant believe no one is trying to buy this boy full international award after award! SixPointer
Summer Update Transfer Activity Two massive deals in Callum Paterson returning after a stint at Cardiff and Liam Lindsay returning to Scotland after spending time at Barnsley these deal now see us only missing Kieran Tierney from the Scotland back four along with Jack Hamilton being Scotland's number one. Joe Lewis and Shane Long were added for good tutoring options even though my assistant think there better than Hamilton and Keane they are back up Options. One big deal out going Jack Rodwell for 4.1 million at his age a nice hefty profit. Paterson is machine physical animal only 25 as well even better he came through the academy. Will replace Berra as captain when he retires. Great in the air he will pose a threat at set pieces along with creating chances with his monster throw. Strange that we got money back from buying a player with a clause no sure how that would work IRL. Berra's replacement still needs work only 24 though so can improve needed some one strong and good in the air to match how Berra played. Joe Lewis is still a class act at this level will be brining young Alex Smith on. Rated better than Hamilton but back up for me as Hamilton is the younger. Shane Long brought In purely as a tutor for our abundance of great young strikers. Resolute 15 determination teamwork 17 work rate 20 ideal for bring the young lads on just wish he was 31 no 33 The rest of the lads are youngster the one am most excited about is this lad. Mike Sinclair 16 needs a good tutor for the personality and determination but other than that at 16 very exciting prospect. Jack Rodwell is shifted on for 4 million profit after he arrived on a free. Was sad to see Mathew Knox move on he showed a lot of promise at the start but I think best to let him go and get first team football. We rejected this bid for the top pick from last years youth intake tried to get 5 million but city withdrew. Pre Season Great pre season managed to get the tweaks to the tactics bedded in along with the new look back 4. Not having all the qualifiers for the champions league helped. The fixtures are out and its a tough start Thistle had a great season last year Motherwell away always a difficult place to go followed by the Edinburgh derby then Rangers visiting before travelling north to Pitrodrie. Shaky start in the first leg but we went on to destroy them! Will Keane scoring 4 just an absolute goal machine. Nice to See the new back 4 playing well bar the first 5 minutes. Second leg Will Keane showed why he is still not at Man United he couldn't hit a barn door! Back 4 solid again Walker with a goal but had it been a better side we may have toiled more. Nonetheless job done and into the group stages. Well it doesn't get much tougher than that! That's Europe for another season. Going to make a park the bus tactic to see if we can stay in the game then maybe steal a win think its the only way to go against these attacking sides if I go for it they will rip me to shreds. New expansion to the stadium improved youth and recruitment and a new deal for the manager after qualifying for the group stages.
metallimuse
Oh...My...Days......that Champs League group Liam Lindsay back is a good bit of business as is Paterson, who I'm shocked came back to Scottish football. Knox just doesn't seem to be good enough in FM18 to make the leap to a big Scottish club, I had to sell him as well and he was such a beast in FM17.
