There are some great and very evenly matched teams in this league. We are not one of them, it's going to be really tough to stay up.

Wow, that is tough even the next worse team has 4 times your budget. If you manage to stay up that would be a huge achievement. 

What is prize money/TV money like in Brazil? Does being in the big league give a big boost to finances?

I think this year we get just over £2m in tv money which is double what we had last season, and here's the league prize money.

On FM17 I tended to find that DMC's and AMC's were far more common than MC's in Brazil.

It's worrying that all the teams you played in August are in the bottom half, hopefully one good result is all that's needed to get you going again.

2026 End of Season - Sousaceptable to Heartbreak (Thanks @Nottingham Forest)

We choked big time and we're back down to Serie B. Next season I won't aim for promotion, top half is probably a more reasonable expectation, oh, and two of the three starting strikers want to leave.

Anything other than rock bottom is an achievement with those players, to be honest. Shame you did go down in the end, but saving it until the last day is still pretty impressive with the constraints you're working with.

Priority now is probably keeping hold of Leonildo and Bruno, they look far better than the rest of your squad at the moment.

Thanks both of you, I doubt we'll be able to keep both of them but I'll try my best to get them on new contracts, we do have some good news though.

We were looking good to be a lower-mid Serie B side but one freak good season, hopefully we can go back to a middling side and grow the side incrementally. Currently we only have 6 players over the age of 21 so we're along way off our peak with these guys.

Another almost perfect month as we eased into the state final and beat Chapecoense 4-2 on aggregate to set us up against Sao Paulo in the 5th Round and we face Nautico in the Nordestao Final too! :D
