2032 End of Season

Ceara scored a 92nd minute equaliser in the final game of the season which saw them survive and Vasco go down, the massive surprise was seeing Palmeiras being relegated! In the end we did very well this season and finish in 9th, 15 points above the drop!

See if this was solely about getting the most goals possible from a goalkeeper then I would stick with Roberlan, in my head though I'm thinking that I want to reach the top and I don't want players to play purely on loyalty until I'm consistently at the top of Serie A and whilst Roberlan still has 10 seasons of playing ahead of him and has 843 appearances to his name, I have someone who's now better than him and 8 years younger than him.

That's what I mean though, Juliano probably has higher CA, but Roberlan is in my eyes still the better goalkeeper. A lot of Juliano's ability is in his physical attributes, rather than his goalkeeping ones. That said, looking at your last squad pics, Juliano is 5* pa, so sooner or later will outshine him in everything, so an understandable pick to start.

That's fair enough really, Juliano is having a pretty good season so far, average rating of 7.24 which is around on par with what Roberlan achieves. We've not been getting too many penalties so he's only scored 3 goals, Juliano has kept 17 clean sheets in 33 games so far, I think the 2 are pretty much on par with each other but I fully expect Juliano to steam ahead for the next few seasons.

One thing I find amazing is the standard of players we have in the team, just imagine the capabilities and players we'll have with maxed facilities! Right now we still have basic training and below average youth facilities.

Sao Paulo destroyed us in the 2nd leg of the Copa do Brasil Quarter Final...In the league there was just the one loss which sees us climb way up to 3rd, how the bloody hell?! And in the Copa Sudamericana we have a 3-1 advantage over Argentinos Jrs. but they do have that all important away goal.

1 League game to go but I think we've definitely qualified for next seasons Copa Libertadores with the best we can finish being 3rd and the worst being 6th. We demolish Uruguayan side Fenix 9-3 on aggregate and face either Sport or Santos in the Copa Sudamericana Final, and speaking of Santos, with 1 game left they could be relegated to Serie B for the first time ever!
