2 and a half stars. 'Okay' reputation. A little lower than I'd have thought.

That could be part of it, but you'd expect them to still haul in talent.

Taylor looks incredible by the way. Just tie him down to the longest deal you can and impress him by showing him all the Wolf Cups you won.

Another two months down, and yeesh..... This has to be the worst two months of the save so far. Injuries and suspensions came to bear right around the Roma games, and we collapsed. Slattery and May have also been dropped to the U23's due to contract disputes.

293c67f33f454a482ebdb4589954fcec.png

We could have beaten Roma, only for Evan Richard's red card 30 minutes in..... well in control to that point, and it still took them an 89th minute equalizer.

a4beaccadb1ccbe7bf869ce8b3be9988.png

We kind of have destiny in our own hands here, but the run in is a nightmare.

7da1ad2e50d0f7d53c9aa2a6722782f5.png

This wasn't even me just giving the lad minutes to get the record, we were legit that deep(he's currently 6th choice CB) down the depth chart due to injuries and suspensions. He also played the 2nd leg against Roma.

4b90eaff826df8f54ac7146556b56077.png

The first player from our intakes to be capped.

Best player at the club now, and showing no sign of slowing down in development.

We finish up with some surprisingly good form in tricky games.

To be fair, the backups played against City as it wasn't important, the Chelsea game sealed CL football.

Goalie is player of the season, despite us conceding 65 league goals.

First time you haven't topped a division in the save! Big disappointment

(Looking forward to your treble next season tbh...)

Getting a wee bit trickier to keep the pace.

Great job.  Is O'leary a first choice LB for you? Where was he from?

Cheers!

O'Leary's first choice. He's one of our own, at that! Star of the third intake when we were in League 2.

Yeah it's great stuff, I love this Sheldon lad. :)

@BoxToBox, Well done on CL qualification, not surprised though, also a good job you managed to win the Wolf cup again, I would have been one of the fans calling for your head if you hadn't notched up a second success soon in the most important comp going. ;)

Another season's just kicked off, and it should be a good one, despite being predicted to be relegated.

A long and brutal pre-season, but a very successful one at that, barring one issue.

I relented in summer, and offered Callum Slattery a new contract, two games into pre-season and...

This ex-Man City lad adds pace and power, to midfield and attack.

This former Chelsea lad is real handy homegrown depth at CB, and is a good influence on the squads personality.

Ex-Monaco lad we took a wild punt on.

So, I decided, we'd have to uhh, place less emphasis on the CL, play the 2nd choice players for the league, we can't compete at both and the board are happy enough if we go no further.

Backups didn't get the memo. Starters get dicked on by Bournemouth anyway.....
September was amazing, October was looking decidedly dodgy until the Leipzig game.

Xavier Poncet is either going to be very useful midfield player for you, or he will make you a lot of money in a few seasons.

Aye, I feel like there's no losing out with him, one way or another.

Into January now, and things are going well, the backups have especially proven themselves.

50a19424ebf8db8803761bf07a6f4a29.png

Another terrible start to a month in November, but that was a tough run of games, looked like it was continuing with the Saints until Lee popped up get us back on form.

Cracking end to the year, as youth grad Alderton picks apart Liverpool on their own ground.

He was a little overshadowed by Simon Giles on their intake day, but I think he might turn out to be the best player from that year in the long run.

Great stuff in the Champions League. I smell a few trophies this season.

I'm still gutted we never got the Bradford derby!

It's been the one real disappointment of the save so far, would have loved for them to rise up too.

How's MTH looking? He can't be that bad considering I still see his name amongst the scorers.

He's grown a little bit, not quite what was expected, but he plays well anyway, killer form last season with 27 goals and 18 assists in all competitions.

I reckon he's peaked here, he's been at this level for a while now. Not world class or anything, but the attributes to be clinical in front of goal and proving it with 174 goals in 233 games at the age of 21.

Think I'd be tempted to drop the rotation idea and field the best 11 in the CL knockout rounds, I mean it's the freaking Champions League. :D And there might be a chance there...

For 3.5m and 375k, respectively, both because they weren't getting much football due to youths in their position.

Into March now, and on we roll, though we closed up these months with a streak of losses, and with Man Utd up next, that'll probably continue.

Fair play to the backups, they gave it a good go against PSG, and it could have been a draw, but for a missed penalty.

Palace game was a classic meltdown.

The new HOYD reckon we have another golden generation... Then again, this lad was brought in to improve Determination levels, and the very first guy on the list has a rating of 4.....
Seriously though, this certainly looks like we have a few gems on our hands, a true golden generation.

caf06ee05479b16b89e94424a4ce1b79.png

Henderson.... his personality is terrible, tutoring is a problem for us. That said, Fede can get him on the right path, and if he does kick on, we could have an absolute star on our hands.

b0332a99786bfc50e65551a77aeb368b.png

Short needs a lot of work, but has a great personality for it. Also, we don't use wingers, but he could become a fine Mezzala.

6089ab4152b61c47c346f7c2e8778009.png

This is the one Speakman shouts out, and probably will be the best. Lot of work on, especially physically, but he looks like an excellent DLF/F9 in the making.

I wish Short was either 6' 2" or else ridiculously small.

Very close against PSG. If that's what your backups can do, imagine how far the starting XI will go.
