Alternative View Posted September 4, 2017 Share Posted September 4, 2017 Hi Everyone, This is a tactic I've used tweaked and edited all version of FM 17 I have to share it before we move onto 18 as i'm genuinely stunned at the success rate i have with it in any save with any team especially if you're in a journeyman save. It's an all out attack system which looks quite frankly ridiculous but if you want to play attacking football , score goals and create clear cut chances then this is the tactic for you. I'm wondering really if anyone else has played a 4-2-2-2 system this season and if so did you come across the same positive things and negative things as me? This tactic will however not only score goals it will concede them too and throw up some ridiculous results. I've recently started a YouTube channel up and i'm currently doing a play-through from the non leagues all the way to the top and i'm sure ill be able to showcase some results at all levels of football with it. For example here i took over as Dover manager ( first season ) with no qualifications , they were in the relegation zone with no morale or form and these are the results from Braintree at Home and match stats from one of the games. It works surprisingly well and it would normally be ridiculous to have 2 players that don't track back, at least that's what it says they wont do in the tactic screen. But they actually do press and track back at least a little bit but once their player gets into a position deep enough towards our own goal they then leave them and retreat back to their attacking position which then leaves us 3-4 players ready to spring the counter attack at all times. Also if you're a top team and possession gets built up into tight areas in the middle the wing backs ( where i would use orthodox wingers at times in those positions ) fly forwards and become the wingers and beat their player or whip in crosses to the front 4 almost in the box with a box to box midfielder normally lurking. If anyone wants me to go to more detail i can go into team and player instructions right to the very last detail but i don't want to elaborate any further if nobody is interested! Not only that but i didn't actually post the topic in here initially. I put it in the discussion forum........ To your second point If they don't that's fine it's not an ego trip for me for people to tell me how great i am or my tactic is, it's something that's worked brilliantly for me since November & i'm sharing it and if anyone wants to try it or see where and why i'm doing well in creating chances and scoring goals then here it is , hopefully it helps or if they copy it completely it will produce some truly brilliant entertainment and success if they buy the right players for it & if they don't use it because there isn't a tactic to download then more the power to them I hope they continue to enjoy their saves and the game.
