[Suggestion] Your own Salary

BrutalS

Recommended Posts

Hello, I don't know if you would like or approve the idea but as we all know the games don't come cheaper with years and currently what I feel about this game is that it is lacking the new features in the game, all we get is updated databases, as for some features that are already in a game don't get rework at all.

My suggestion is if you like that is, is that your own money. (salary that you get from contract) can be actually used for something other than to get "untouchable" status, as we all know in real life there is a lot of match fixing, bribery etc etc.
So my suggestion is, that you are able to use your money for everything! for example, your club is having some difficulties with salaries? why not help it with a donation? You want to bribe a judge to get a penalty maybe? it's possible.

Want even to open your own club, build your own stadium? be the REAL  manager? it would be very very realistic, now of course bribing a judge in Kazahstan second league wouldn't be as expensive as bribing first league in england etc.
People that feel that it would be cheating etc don't have to use the feature of course.

I just wanted to suggest this for years I don't know if people already suggested and I am owner only of FM14 because I only buy every 4 years or so when something significantly changes.

I would like this because I feel the money on contract that I get has no effect on the game at all.

Also being able to start your own team invest in it and in stadium etc would be awesome and a nice add to biography, also if you could please try to polish some of the pre and post match comments, because after a while it gets really kinda boring.
Add more options or perhaps add more options on depending how the player answers.

Thanks!

There aren't many things you could suggest that would have absolutely zero chance of being included, but you've found one.  So much so that it gets its own mention in the stickied thread on this very board

Unless of course it's a request for the game to become 'Football Chairman', allow the manager to spend their own money or to do any other task a Football Manager simply would never do.

None of this is ever going to be added.  Ever.

Using your salary to pay for the coaching qualifications instead of the board is valid instead of match fixing or some of these weird suggestions.

It's already the case for clubs with not much money at all, and clubs with bigger amounts of money just fund it instead. It doesn't change anything.

How about the option to use your salary to spend on strippers, hookers and sluts?!? Cut away scenes to porn hub etc!

Or fast cars, alcohol and gambling!

I have never seen an option to pay for the coaching qualifications yourself, only asking the board. Can you show where it is possible?

Ah, you meant for yourself. I don't remember, I haven't played in low enough clubs in a while. I was thinking about the staff: the staff members can pay from their own pocket for coaching qualifications. But in small clubs the reason why you can't go on coaching qualifications is almost always the lack of staff, not the lack of funds (unless you have a severe, extreme and really out of ordinary Scrooge McDuck of a chairman, and I haven't seen that yet). And when you're good enough to have two coaches or more (or say, have a coach take over all your assignments before you ask the board for coaching qualifications) well the issue becomes irrelevant as the board will just fund it anyway.

That said, in the case the club refuses to fund a course for its head coach, I think you have other issues to think about other than your coaching qualifications...
