Administrators Neil Brock Posted July 6, 2017 Administrators Share Posted July 6, 2017 For many years, both through these forums and via social media, we at Sports Interactive have strived to develop and foster good relations with our community. Up until now, a key part of this has been the Sports Interactive Approved Sites (SIAS) programme, which brings numerous fan sites, video creators and other contributors together under the Football Manager umbrella. The SIAS scheme was originally set up to recognise and ‘hero’ the excellent content produced by the passionate and active community which has grown up around FM. However, in recent years increasingly limiting restrictions means that we’ve struggled to deliver on this. We’ve therefore decided to change the way we work with the community. The SIAS programme will officially come to an end on July 10th, 2017. It will be replaced later that month with a new programme, which will hopefully deliver more to those who are current affiliates and – crucially – bring a whole new range of content creators into the fold. In truth, this change isn’t going to make a great deal of difference to those of you who enjoy this fan-created content (apart from the disappearance of the ‘Sports Interactive Approved Fansites’ and ‘Sports Interactive Star Affiliate’ logos). Our plan is to provide more support than previously and to a wider audience. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to, read or had any kind of involvement with the SIAS members over the years. We really appreciate every single one of you and look forward to continue sharing this journey with you for years to come. We’ll be in touch.
