I play an edited league. Can't negotiate a contract more than 2 year extension??

I created the Bosnian league and everything is fine and dandy besides that I can't extend the players contract to more that 2 years maximum. Most players only accept 1 year extension, few of them 2. None 3 or more years.

 

Is this a bug or is it something I missed in the editor?

 

Note: No matter which team I pick it's the same thing. Even if it's the highest tier or the lowest.

Can confirm to have the same issue using a custom Czech league system

I had assumed it was down to a hardcoded wage rule in my own case
