mynameismethos
Make one game and release new seasons and features as DLCs. With this way we can play old times with new features. For example: If I could play 2002 Real Madrid with FM 2017 features, that would be great.
Schmidy
I've been wanting FM to become a two year cycle for a while now. Then release database updates as DLC. Sadly, this won't happen for several reasons. People will cry because another game is selling DLC. SI won't receive as much through sales if they are only selling databases as DLC, you can't offer a database DLC for more than 5-10 dollars (estimated guess of course). Then there is also the issue of the editor, people would just use the free databases until the new game. So yeah, as much as I'd like to see the development be a little less rushed to release yearly, I can't see it changing anytime soon.
rusty217
hmm, I imagine licensing may be an issue. Wouldn't be surprised if there were a limit on how long SI can sell a game featuring a specific season for. The fact that older FM versions are no longer for sale on Steam may indicate that too! FrazT
This has been mentioned before but, for a number of logistical and commercial reasons, will be unlikely to be implemented in te near future, if ever.
