That is it for this round. Just a reminder that those who have to select a player have 24 hours to do so

Not sure on what the next fixtures will be but there is only two more games of world cup qualifiers for those nations still in the running.

I can already announce though that the following nations have already qualified for the 2018 World Cup:

Russia (Hosts)

Colombia

Australia

The following nations have no chance of qualifying

India

Costa Rica

Bulgaria

Kosovo

Iceland

The rest are all either very close (would need only a draw to qualify) and others their next two games are must wins.

The World Cup will surely be massive and could either wreck a nation or turn a nation into a world force.

gah, sorry I forgot about last time, it's a shame too because there are a lot of good Ghanaians I could have added to my team

don't really know any of these players but I'll take Denis Onyango because an extra goalkeeper can never hurt

Romania will pick G. Kadymyan :) (if i spelled him right).

Just wandering when did we end up with that goalkeeper seems israeli or something, might have missed a stage :)

Actually his second nation is Romania

http://www.transfermarkt.com/arik-yanko/profil/spieler/138324

so he must of chose Romania over Israel (smart choice?) that was his first cap v Armenia.

wonder how long he will last

Can I see Iceland's form since the beginning of this experiment?

Also, does Iceland even have another keeper?

Not very good I wonder if Luke Gambin (from Malta) will ever get a run lol

The results may be poor but it isn't like they have been smashed every game (a lot of games they are losing by 1 goal) just unlucky I'm afraid

They have fallen from 25th in the world down to 81st.

There is still 44 goalkeepers from Iceland (This is more than Switzerland who have 38)

Hopefully I'll smash @abdulius to pieces! But more realistically, I hope to not lose any key players.

Btw, @Weiry, can I get a screenshot of my national squad to see what kind of players I currently have?

If DH gets his 3rd strike this time around i'm happy to step in, either with Belgium (to make it easier) or with another team of my choice.

EDIT - I may have miscalculated his strikes? Is he on one or two? is anyone on two?

This will be his 2nd strike. oakesypvfc is also on 2 strikes. Other than that everyone has been quite good with selecting a player within the 24 hour limit.

The next round of results will be posted asap

@Muttley84

Linked below are the tables of all the european world cup qualifying groups

Group 1-3 Group 4-6 Group 7-9

Some huge final day match-ups to determine 1st and 2nd places. Switzerland have Portugal. Sweden play Holland. Your Romania side play Montenegro (Poland have Armenia). Czech Republic need to win against Northern Ireland as you would expect Norway to defeat San Marino. It will be interesting to see the results...

Hey, a suprise win for me! Norway will take Patrick Schick. I'll trust Tottenham with regards to up and coming youngsters!

@Weiry: How are Norway in regards to qualifying for the World Cup?

Pretty interesting constellations in These Groups. Israel can still Keep Spain or Italy from qualifying...

Our Group 1 is tight, too, with Belarus, Holland and Sweden all within 1 Point on ranks 2-4. Who is Belarus playing next?

@Bliop Thanks to Bulgaria for fighting back the Dutch! Now take away their strongest man and we'll have a decent chance :D

Hopefully you can stop grandpa Robben :D

@BliopHe will injure himself heavily during the first dribbling he tries, I am sure of that. Otherwise we would need to rely on our left back to stop his Robben move, cutting inside   Not so sure if that's a good idea...

Belarus are playing France away so shouldn't need to worry about them but you never know ;)

This is just sad..😔 congrats @XaW well deserved win, hopefully you will use Patrik to some good results. Not sure why we kept better players on the bench...

Anyway, off to the last match and for the win!

Thanks! GG I guess! :) Seems like Elyounoussi had a good game for us to win it. Hopefully Schick can do well for us. Was worried we would lose Ødegaard in my first match.

At least the first draw is striker-striker combo not gk problem that most people have had.

Yeah lucky you! Makes sense though the score was 0-0

Waiting on @Sankalan and @oakesypvfc and then I can post probably the most important round yet
