dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2032/33 After a long wait to win back the Premier League, the club seems to be hitting top form just in time for the stadium to open. League Table - there was no problem retaining the title this time as we cruised to victory. Community Shield - we had a goalfest to start off the season. UEFA Super Cup - we got the better of this all English affair. FIFA Club World Cup - after the registration debacle, we annihilated our Brazilian opposition. EFL Cup - despite our lead, we let it slip in the 2nd leg. FA Cup - another brilliant cup win. UEFA Champions League - our away form was a worry, but we made it to the final where our ten men hung on to take it on penalties. Squad - the squad is in superb shape. Transfers - I sold a talented youth product in a move I may well regret. Finances - we made a decent profit. Key Player Profiles: Mario Lotito - he was scoring for fun. Tim Bradbrook - filled in for Lolito during the Olympics and had a great season. Mario Prce - he's become a superb supporting striker. Lory Marc Rosélia - our most valuable player. Danny Mende - the new signing. Career Overview: Season League Position Achievements -------------------------------------------------------------------- 2016/17 EFL League Two 3rd Promoted 2017/18 EFL League One 2nd Promoted 2018/19 EFL Championship 6th Playoff semi finalists 2019/20 EFL Championship 7th 2020/21 EFL Championship 5th Playoff winners 2021/22 Premier League 14th 2022/23 Premier League 12th FA Cup winners 2023/24 Premier League 12th Europa League winners 2024/25 Premier League 11th 2025/26 Premier League 1st FA Cup winners 2026/27 Premier League 4th 2027/28 Premier League 3rd Champions League finalists 2028/29 Premier League 4th League Cup and FA Cup winners 2029/30 Premier League 3rd League Cup and FA Cup winners 2030/31 Premier League 4th FA Cup winners 2031/32 Premier League 1st League Cup and Champions League winners, FA Cup finalists 2032/33 Premier League 1st CWC, FA Cup and Champions League winners Next Season: The new stadium opens this month, so hopefully that will increase our income. Our aim for next season is the clean sweep, we have the players good enough to do it.

yugo23
I was away from FM for a year or two, it was nice catching up with dafuge's threads. What about Leyton Orient, no mention of them after that takeover. With 43 M available for transfers in League 2 they were destined to eventually get promoted to EPL. It's a shame if AI failed in their case. Also, where is Nottm Forest now? I've seen they were relegated to L1 after few seasons.

dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2033/34 This was our first season in the Jimmy Dickinson Arena, we needed to make sure it was a good one. League Table - an unbeaten season and a goal difference of 100, I'm not sure it will get any better than this. Community Shield - two second half goals sealed this one. UEFA Super Cup - Chelsea again, but the result was a bit more one sided. FIFA Club World Cup - another easy win. EFL Cup - we lost out on penalties to Championship Watford. FA Cup - we scored well against the London clubs in our cup winning run. UEFA Champions League - we scraped past the German teams but made easy work of the all English final at Wembley. Squad - I'm not sure I can improve this. Transfers - I accepted an enormous bid for an average DM. Finances - the transfers played a big part in this. Key Player Profiles: Mario Prce - top scorer from the supporting role in an incredible season. Mario Lotito - a goal a game, but he's under pressure for his place. Danny Mende - he could be the next big thing. Lory Marc Rosélia - our most valuable player. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - still a class act. Career Overview: Season League Position Achievements -------------------------------------------------------------------- 2016/17 EFL League Two 3rd Promoted 2017/18 EFL League One 2nd Promoted 2018/19 EFL Championship 6th Playoff semi finalists 2019/20 EFL Championship 7th 2020/21 EFL Championship 5th Playoff winners 2021/22 Premier League 14th 2022/23 Premier League 12th FA Cup winners 2023/24 Premier League 12th Europa League winners 2024/25 Premier League 11th 2025/26 Premier League 1st FA Cup winners 2026/27 Premier League 4th 2027/28 Premier League 3rd Champions League finalists 2028/29 Premier League 4th League Cup and FA Cup winners 2029/30 Premier League 3rd League Cup and FA Cup winners 2030/31 Premier League 4th FA Cup winners 2031/32 Premier League 1st League Cup and Champions League winners, FA Cup finalists 2032/33 Premier League 1st CWC, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2033/34 Premier League 1st CWC, FA Cup and Champions League winners Next Season: We are still yet to do the clean sweep, so that's the aim for next season. dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2034/35 With a squad capable of competing for every trophy, our sights were set on the clean sweep this season. League Table - our goal difference wasn't as good as last season, but we gained more points this time. This makes it 94 games undefeated. Community Shield - a great win to kick off the season. UEFA Super Cup - we scraped this one. FIFA Club World Cup - we made easy work of the Brazilians. EFL Cup - we needed a comeback to win the final. FA Cup - once again we had an amazing comeback in the cup final. UEFA Champions League - the dream ended here as we came up short in the final. Squad - an outstanding DM could make a huge difference to this team. Transfers - no transfers this season. Finances - a big loss, but there's a decent stadium expansion on the way. Key Player Profiles: Danny Mende - he got his chance as the main striker and delivered. Mario Lotito - he's getting unhappy with first team football, and for good reason. Mario Prce - this was a huge dip compared to last season. Dion Lis - our most valuable player. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - I don't know how we'll ever replace him. dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2035/36 Last season we were one win away from a clean sweep, this time the Champions League was our main aim. League Table - we were scoring for fun, but our defence cost us our unbeaten run. Community Shield - two second half goals sealed the win. EFL Cup - we needed extra time to win the cup. FA Cup - we made hard work of the final against Championship opposition. UEFA Champions League - despite struggling away from home, we denied Liverpool another historic night in Turkey. Squad - it is almost impossible to improve this squad. Transfers - I signed a new goalie after concerns about our youth prospect. Finances - we made a profit. Key Player Profiles: Danny Mende - top scorer again. Mario Lotito - he responded superbly to losing his place in the team. Mario Prce - the supporting striker. Kevin Dau - the solid defender. dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2036/37 Once again we went in search of the clean sweep. League Table - with the unbeaten run gone, we added another couple of losses. Community Shield - we kicked the season off with a good win. UEFA Super Cup - we made easy work of this one. FIFA Club World Cup - a great win over the Mexicans. EFL Cup - we overcame a first leg loss over United to beat City in the final. FA Cup - the draw was pretty kind to us, but we saved our best for the final. UEFA Champions League - we weren't exactly on form throughout the competition, but we went on to snatch the trophy. Squad - the squad is superb, but the average age is creeping up as a number of players might need moving on. Transfers - I made the bold decision to sell Kirby, but the £85m for my backup DM was an easy decision. Finances - we made a massive profit with the transfers. Key Player Profiles: Danny Mende - top scorer, but I feel there is more to come from him. Mario Prce - an amazing supporting striker. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - he's 32, but I still can't drop him. dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2037/38 With the clean sweep finally in the books, this season was all about building for the future. League Table - we threw away plenty of points, but there wasn't anyone good enough to chase us. Community Shield - it was a close one to start of the season. UEFA Super Cup - this one wasn't as close. FIFA Club World Cup - the team from Saudi Arabia pushed us all the way. EFL Cup - Arsenal just edged us in the semi final. FA Cup - we got our revenge over Arsenal in a great cup final. UEFA Champions League - an early red card set up possibly the greatest Champions League finals of all time. Squad - we have a number of key players over the age of 30, so they will need replacing soon. Transfers - I cashed in on some of the older players. Finances - we made a huge profit. Key Player Profiles: Danny Mende - despite being unhappy, he had an incredible season. Mario Prce - the brilliant supporting striker. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - he's 33 but he's a legend.
