mortiis7 Posted March 9, 2017 Share Posted March 9, 2017 im playing fm16 and i wanted to change my club name (after i have already started the game) Football Manager 2016\data\db\1630\lnc here i have found file ''City, Club and Stadium Names.inc'' and i have done this # Brazil #"CLUB_LONG_NAME_CHANGE" 311964 "FC Alemao" "" #"CLUB_SHORT_NAME_CHANGE" 311964 "Alemao" "" reloaded skin,restarted the game..but nothing has changed...what did i do wrong? If you had asked the file creator ( ) or read the installation instructions, you may have learnt that the club name changes in that download are not done through the lnc file, but through the editor data file. While using the latter method means that the file has to be in place before starting a new game, using the former method, while being save-game compatible, would mean that club nicknames are replaced, which is not ideal. In order to allow people to choose whichever method they prefer, the entries in the lnc file are preceded by a #, which tells the game to ignore anything written in that line. The simple act of deleting the # would see the respective entry or entries appearing in your save-game. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
