I've used it so far in two different save games (with sporting clube de portugal and with valencia), and in both cases it turned my season around, scoring loads of goals in the process. I also made a save game, for two seasons in spain, with the managers going on holiday of your tactic (playing in athletic madrid) against ncfcgee 451 tactic (villarreal) and zebanumut 433 (zaragoza) - and in both seasons your tactic came on top of the other ones(in the first the holiday controled team managed to come second, with 90 something goals!) As has been mentioned previously though it lets in a lot of goals, especially away from home. Recently drew 5-5 away at Man U and with my international game beat Macedonia 5-6 away with Serbia. I was struggling to find a decent tactic post 8.0.1 patch and I almost gave up hope. your tactic restored my faith in the game, unbelievable results with my atletico side. I beat Bayern Munich 4-3 in the uefa cup, the next game I had an away game against R.Madrid won 4-2(I was leading 4-0)!!! the only flaw is the defense but it's not a big deal because 90% of the time you will score more than the opposition. worst case scenario for me with this tactic is a draw. undefeated in 20 games so far, won 16. awesome stuff. van_zanten Posted December 12, 2007 Share Posted December 12, 2007 Good work. I downloaded v2.00 and I enjoy it. In my first season in patch 8.01 with Preston, midway through the season. Was keeping it tight at the back, conceding on average one goal per game, but I was failing to find the net regularly. But this tactic soon remedied that. After four games with it I had scored on average two per game. Won three of them and drew the other 2-2, away to an in-from Leicester. I really like the shape of this tactic and I like the fact that it's very ballsy. It attacks relentlessly and my full-backs are getting right in on the action with clever overlaps. I had my reservations about this approach in away games because I usual operate in a safety first manner, but I think the tempo is enough to get you off to a flyer in most instances. PrimeTime76 Posted December 12, 2007 Share Posted December 12, 2007 Hey guys, So far with this tactic, v.2.00, I've noticed a terrific improvement in attempts on goal as well as opportunities to score. The only problem i'm having is my forwards can't score. They miss the goal from very close...it's actually very depressing. The wingers are definitely getting clear chances to score. They overlap the attacking mids and if they are pacey enough (15+) always get clear of the defenders and have 1 v 1 with the keeper. The only issue to be sorted out in my case is getting tighter at the back, especially on counter attacks. I seem to conceide mostly always on counter attacks. I have owen in the attack, he has good stats, but he misses every time. When i put cesar delgaodo in the attack (also good stats), the same problem. Obviously they can't score every chance but how many times would Michael Owen miss from inside the 18 yard box?? How many times would Totti miss around the area? I hate when they completely miss the goal. It should be looked at because tactics like this one which create many opportunities often don't reap the rewards they deserve. But results has been very inconsistent. After changing to your V2 tactic, I trashed Newcastle 5-2 in the League Cup! But after that I has been on a drawing and losing streak! I've experienced similar problems to some of the above posts. Every single match I have played, I have dominated. Both in terms of chances created and overall possession of the ball. However, results have been slipping because my attacking players always seem to miss easy one-on-ones (and the follow-ups, even when the 'keeper is on the ground), and my defence is exposed to rapid counter-attacks. And for some reason, my opponents score from a counter-attack EVERY match. I'm liking the idea of dropping the central midfielder into a defensive midfield role. Individual instructions for this player could be crucial, though it'll obviously depend on who you have available to play there. I'm going to give this a bash over the weekend. andersonn Posted December 13, 2007 Share Posted December 13, 2007 i used this tactic 1 seaon and i won Turkish Super league with fenerbahçe,i won League cup,i scored very much and dominated nearly all games,thanks for the tactic,its successfull.but i had serious problems with euro cup matches,in the next stage after group stage of euro cup,i have lost to Palermo 0-5 away and 0-4 home with the same squad as whole league matches.concede 9 goals and scored 0 in two legs LOL.my squad was ok!.i can accept this but i want to know why?
