Very true, I wasn't looking for a club since I would like to get us promoted to the Super Lig before leaving but if a club is 'big enough' so to speak then it would be very hard for me to reject an offer. Malatyaspor who've now gained 4 points from us this season yet remain in the relegation zone, they're our bogey team this season. Makoto Nakamura Posted March 3, 2017 Author Share Posted March 3, 2017 February 2024 We're finally out of the cup now so we can focus on the league, an unbeaten month but with just the one win and we're 8 points clear of Manisaspor who we drew with at home so things are still looking very achievable for a promotion this season! We've played 1st and 2nd in the league away from home and only lost narrowly to both of them, we're scoring lots of goals, especially against amateur side Cizrespor in the cup and we currently sit 6th in the league early on! Thanks Daz I'm surprised I've spent so long in Turkey, last season I jumped from club to club for the first 10-12 seasons, my reputations increased a lot more and a lot quicker thanks to me staying at one club. Makoto Nakamura Posted March 8, 2017 Author Share Posted March 8, 2017 End of Season 2024/25 1 more win and we end up finishing in a very good mid-table finish, the other teams who got promoted with us finished in 13th and 18th so it's another reason to be proud, I'm disappointed that my last game in charge was a 5-0 home loss but it's been a very good stint in Turkey and my contract expires next month so I'll be looking elsewhere. There was literally 100 jobs that I applied for put this was pretty much the only one I was interested in, and I've got it! Key Players: The Serbian league starts stupidly early in comparison to most leagues so here's the fixtures that have already been played: That's a big 3 games to start my life in Serbia...Europa League games against Russian side Rubin and away to the biggest club in Serbia.
