We either need to finish 6th to guarantee Europa League football next season or finish 7th and hope that Schalke beat Hoffenheim in the final of the cup since if Hoffenheim win then they enter the Europa League and we miss out. Okay, it's probably his forehead, but come on, he is 14, how can it be that big!? Anyways, all 3 of them looks really interesting, and it looks to be a tense end to what is a very good season following last season where you had to drag them out of relegation. Makoto Nakamura Posted March 26, 2017 Author Share Posted March 26, 2017 2032/33 Pre-Season We started off shakily as I completely took the team apart but I played 4 of my 5 old clubs and on the whole it's been a very good pre-season. The media expect 13th and the board want mid-table, with the squad shake-up I hope this is achievable. A lot of old players left, so much so that we now only have 4 players over the age of 25 with Kenny Nelson being the oldest at 31, our squad average age is 21 so I'm definitely building for the future. Bayern destroyed Nurnberg 7-0 in the season opener... Europa League group stages have been drawn, It's a tricky group but not the most difficult, it's more unknown strength so we could win the group and we could finish 4th, I have no idea of their quality. In the league we're still defying the odds in 2nd although it was disappointing to lose to leaders Leverkusen even though it was away from home. And we've also made it to face Lyon in the Europa League Quarter Final, I think they'll send us home though since they did put 7 past PSV over 2 legs.
