Dundee Utd have proven that they're not invincible, but I still think it's a tall order for a semi-pro team to keep up the pace. Are you the only semiprofessional team in the Championship then? Really impressive season if you are 😀
Lenzar
3 victories down to luck rather than skill eventually led to a poor performance against Raith. We're still going very well though. Lenzar
A busy month with some good results. The Dundee Utd match was a lot easier than I'd expected - it just proved nearly impossible to score! Dundee Utd had a terrible December as we hit the halfway mark. Can we hold on? Lenzar
Once again we were more fortunate than prolific. We actually had the lead against Celtic, but our tiny stadium meant that game was worth virtually nothing. Others had a mixed month, giving us a solid 9 point lead to take into the final third of the season. Transfers Not too many additions this January - my scouts can't find anyone better than my current crop of players. Nontheless I feel I've added more strength in depth. Lenzar
We put a dreary February behind us and sprung back with an excellent March. 9 points clear with 18 on offer. At this stage I wouldn't be confident going into the playoffs. We must win the league to go up.
Lenzar
A strong start to April was enough to render the last three games of the season as nothing more than dead rubbers. Fairly comfortable in the end.

Lenzar
Dumbarton - 2018/19 Season Review - Scottish Championship League - Streaks of wins throughout the season gave us enough of a lead to cover for periods of slip-ups. We were particularly poor against Raith for some reason. Scottish Cup - An easy win against a non-league team, before running straight into the juggernaut that was Celtic. Other Cups - We were done with the League Cup before the season got going, and lost to Celtic's 'Under 20' team in the semis of the Challenge Cup. Lenzar
With Dumbarton's board offering me a tiny transfer budget, and a stadium expansion taking our stadium capacity to a tiny 4k, I decided that the club simply didn't have the growth required to survive. Therefore, I decided to look for other work. The club I will be going to are an ex-Premier League side, currently a little down on their luck in League Two, where they finished 21st - this was after being relegated from League One the previous season. This does break the rule I set that I would stay a club for two years, but I wouldn't see a manager who has just won three promotions in a row wanting to stay at a club with no resources to improve. In addition, I managed to negotiate a wage of £1,200 a week at my new club... Club #3 - Oldham Athletic (League Two)

noikeee
This... actually doesn't make much sense to me. You're switching a top level team (although it's Scotland) for a level 4 team (although it's England). I would've thought you could find a better job! Anyway, good luck at Oldham. I declared interest in a couple of other English jobs. Only the Oldham one (and another League Two club I can't recall) even bothered to interview me. Almere City in the Dutch second tier also interviewed me. Oldham have more money and much better attendances than Dumbarton did. Scottish football seems really quite tiny outside of the top half dozen clubs!
Lenzar
A good, if unremarkable start. I'm hoping that we can somehow find goals from somewhere as they're proving a little hard to come by. Hopefully we can hang onto a top seven spot. Transfers Brexit has definitely made it far more difficult to sign players. Even Scottish players now require a work permit! I did manage to get Chelsea as a senior affiliate, so that will hopefully land us some decent youngsters.
Lenzar
I think my players must have read the thread as they went goal-crazy in September! I'm not too bothered about the EFL Trophy loss - WBA's 'Under 23' side included a 28 year old! We're the early pace setters!

Lenzar
November saw us squeak past a number of teams, before our luck ran out at the end of the month. Lenzar
We entered the new decade with four big league wins, but the wheels started wobbling again. Coventry have become ruthless in their pursuit. Still 11 points clear of 4th, though.

Lenzar
Draws and close wins don't exactly inspire me with confidence, even if we are beating the teams directly below us. Lenzar
The run-ins for the top three look like this: Oldham 4.4.20: Coventry (2nd) (A) 11.4.20: Crawley (12th) (H) 13.4.20: Eastleigh (23rd) (A) 18.4.20: Hartlepool (6th) (A) 2.5.20: Stevenage (19th) (H) 9.5.20: Cambridge (9th) (A) Coventry 4.4.20: Oldham (1st) (H) 11.4.20: Stevenage (19th) (A) 13.4.20: Cambridge (9th) (H) 18.4.20: Yeovil (5th) (A) 2.5.20: Blackpool (8th) (H) 9.5.20: Newport (21st) (A) Swindon 3.4.20: Plymouth (11th) (H) 11.4.20: Fleetwood (18th) (A) 13.4.20: Hartlepool (6th) (H) 18.4.20: Southend (18th) (H) 2.5.20: Northampton (17th) (A) 9.5.20: Accrington (14th) (H) Notts County still have an outside chance of catching us..but I'd like to hope that a 13 point gap and a superior goal difference is enough! Lenzar
Coventry didn't play like potential title winners with only their goalkeeper putting in a decent performance. They'd been relegated from League One in 17-18, and followed that up with 22nd place in League Two. The lack of a decent goalkeeper can't have helped, though. The first two seasons they were relying on a loanee! As for my tactics, they're nothing special:
