Master420
I was just wondering how much time do you need to finish a season. When I started playing the FM series with Football Manager 2011. It would take me a couple of hours to go through a season. Now it takes me about 5-6 hours and still I don't think I'm following the training of my players. eriktous
Anywhere from 1 to 6 months, as a rough estimate.
Verby
20 minutes ago, eriktous said: Anywhere from 1 to 6 months, as a rough estimate. Really? Is that from not being able to play often or just by watching the games fully etc
eriktous
No, I pour practically all my free time in it, of which I have a lot. Indeed, I watch the matches on full detail, but can also play for hours just looking at player status pages, training setups and development, staff search screens, the tactics creator, scouting assignments; basically anything. Ellis_D
Wow, getting through a season in 5-6 hours is some going! I take anywhere between a week and 4 weeks. I do get a lot of time to play FM too (due to being able to play at work a lot, plus putting in some time at home). I play on my laptop though not a PC, which isn't as good (I need to buy a new one which I will after Christmas), but I also spend a lot of time watching matches, scouting, watching opposition, etc, etc. I take in a lot of stats, I like to look around the world. I do a lot of this, so even when I had a really good PC a few years ago, seasons still took quite a lot of playing time.
tieio
I use an instant result skin, some people like more detail and some like to see more results. I get through a season in about 8 hours without missing training or anything else. I do not partake in any media fluff though, that is all my ass.man. Most would say I may as well play FMT and this season especially, it's true, FMT is not missing much of anything I deem important. Depends on what level of detail you like though. Powermonger
I'm about a 3 week to 2 months kind of guy, I'm a turtler of the first order and that time doesn't include the time I spend between seasons, which is roughly about 1 to 2 weeks. FrazT
I always use about 24-26 hours of game time for the first season on a new save and thereafter about 20-22 hours game time per season
mhaffy
I normally spend 3-4 hours setting things up/analysing squad etc before pressing continue for 1st time!

sulljda
i've been playing since the day the beta got released and have managed to reach Dec 10th of first season, English start date and club
facman
I have 500+ hours in FM16, and have completed 6 full seasons (3 as Everton, 3 as Leeds). I may be the slowest player ever...
GriffiN94
Probably around 15 hours I'd say. I usually get 2 seasons done a week if I'm really into the save. I'm about to finish my 4th season and I'll get the 5th done on the weekend.
gunner86
At full chat I'll get a season done in a week, which is 2-4 hours every evening and practically all weekend. Normally takes 2-3 weeks to a season. I always play loads the week after it comes out and think "I could reasonably do 52 seasons on this version" but life always gets in the way
martplfc1
I'm in April in season 1. I started when the beta came out. Bloody work and marriage
keithw44
A season takes me a month, about 90-100 hours playing time. With a decent processor I think I could about half that.
FreddyGuarin16
If i had a full day off and a full day playing, i would average 1 month every hour. so 12 hour stint would be 12 months. I tend to however play it a few hours here and there so 1 season a week on a good week. 1 season over 3 weeks is standard.

I thought my brother was slow in two player when he does all the news conferences and waffle! but we probably do a two player online season in approx. 24 hours playing time. One player I'm a bit faster, I do training and scouting and manage my players.. I skip conferences and play matches in extended... probably 15-20 hours per season.
