Makoto Nakamura
February 2023 End of month odds - 13-2 - 7th Ouch, that was not a kind month to us, playing 4th and 3rd at home and 10th and 2nd away from home I think we did well to come out with 5 points from that and we kept results close and weren't outplayed at all. Makoto Nakamura
March 2023 End of month odds - 13-2 - 7th An unbeaten month and just 4 league games left we've got a guaranteed 7th and a best case scenario of 4th so at least we've matched pre-season expectations. Boca are 26 points ahead of us...them and River are amazing.
Makoto Nakamura
April 2023 End of month odds - 13-2 - 7th Another 4 points in the bag and Racing's record point haul for a 38 game season is 59 set back in 1988 so we need just a win in our last 2 games against Union (SF) or Estudiantes (LP) to break a now 35 year-old record! Makoto Nakamura
End of Season 2022/23 Very, very happy with that ending! Why couldn't we score like this throughout the season. Boca and River are so far ahead of everyone it is unreal so it may take quite a few years before I get close to toppling either of them. Key Players: Victor Guerrero - Adrian Zeolla - Miguel Angel Gonzalez Best (YP) Development: Julián Guiñazú (YP6a) - Lucas Alaniz (YP6b) - Julián Civelli (YP6c) Goal of the season: (Worth it purely for the cartwheel)

brenosantos
Following this thread now. I need to show this chant from Racing fans, they're one of the best supporters in South America. Their games in 'El Cilindro de Avellaneda' They have an simply amazing atmosphere. Lucas Vega seems to be a great player, really good intake.

Makoto Nakamura
2023/24 Pre-Season 3 away games, all of which were close so it wasn't too bad in the end. 6th again but this time we'll also be entered in the Copa Sudamericana which I'm hoping we can go on a small continental run. The board want the same as last season, hopefully we can deliver. Obviously no-one coming in but quite a few younger players going out on loan. Makoto Nakamura
September 2023 End of month odds - 6th - 33-1 A very good start to the campaign sees us in 6th with a game in hand but rather annoyingly out of the cup but at least we made the stage that the board wanted us to reach, I still think we could have done better though. Makoto Nakamura
Taking a leaf out of one @Jimbokav1971's book, here is my entrant into the realm of goal-scoring goalkeepers
Jimbokav1971
It's a rubbish goal, but even the poorest quality Fat GK goal is a thing of majestic beauty so....... Martel actually looks a decent keeper.

Indeed it is but hopefully it's the first of a handful, Martel will be first choice for the foreseeable future with only Osvaldo (YP7e) to be a future threat to his 1st team place. Makoto Nakamura
October 2023 End of month odds - 6th - 33-1 A couple of disappointing losses, one of which being the game where Alfredo Martel scored his 1st career goal but despite that we are now up to 4th whilst Boca are surprisingly languishing down in 9th with a goal difference of just 1!
Makoto Nakamura
And a 2nd That's 2 goals and 2 assists in 4 games!

Makoto Nakamura
November 2023 End of month odds - 6th - 33-1 It doesn't look great but I'm happy with the month, losing to the teams in 1st and 2nd and drawing against 3rd place San Lorenzo means that at the halfway point we're still in Copa Libertadores contention. Makoto Nakamura
December 2023 End of month odds - 6th - 33-1 Another very good month sees us stay hot on the tail of Talleres Cba. for 4th place whilst San Lorenzo, River & Roasairo Central are beginning to breakaway from the rest of us. Makoto Nakamura
January 2024 End of month odds - 6th - 13-2 Okay, well, that was dire. There's nothing else I can say, Banfield hit us on the counter and we did nothing about it. Boca are having their mid-season rise in form as they climb up to 4th and are looking really good right now.
Makoto Nakamura
February 2024 End of month odds - 9th - 7-1 A poor month in the league where we're now leading the fight for 5th since Boca have been amazing and have caught up to the first 3. In the cup goalkeeper Alfredo Martel scored his 4th goal of the season with a late equaliser to send us in to extra time and we ended up winning 5-4 on penalties. Makoto Nakamura
March 2024 End of month odds - 9th - 7-1 Just 4 games left to play and we're 3 points off of our record points total last season and we already have more wins than we had last season so they're both pluses, it was very disappointing losing away to Atl. Tucuman though, we should have done a lot better. The Copa Libertadores has now been drawn as well and we *should* easily get 2nd, we've already lost to Flamengo so 1st place is looking very unlikely but I'm hopeful for 4 wins from 6.
Makoto Nakamura
April 2024 End of month odds - 9th - 7-1 A very strong month, managing to draw at home to San Lorenzo and sending them down to 2nd and a solid win away to 19th placed Independiente, in the Copa Libertadores we had 2 more strong games and in the 3-1 win over Cristal our goalkeeper finished with a goal, an assist and a player of the match award
Makoto Nakamura
End of Season 2023/24 Ouch, a terrible end to the season with no actual wins, we've still ended up with a new points record and we're through to the 2nd Round of the Copa Libertadores where we face Santos from Brazil so we're almost definitely out now! Key Players: Miguel Angel Gonzales - Juan Cruz Komar - Adrian Zeolla Best YP development: Julián Guiñazú (YP6a) - Lucas Alaniz (YP6b) - Julián Civelli (YP6c) Lucas Vega (YP7a) - Fabrizio Andrada (YP7b) - Rodolfo Baglivo (YP7c) - Marcos Lovisa (YP7d)
Makoto Nakamura
2024/25 Youth Candidates A lot of ambitious youngsters who are the exact same height and almost the exact same weight...very odd.

Makoto Nakamura
2024/25 Pre-Season A dire pre-season with the expected result against Santos, at least it gave us £575K in prize money though. We're expected to finish 6th again. And more youngsters going out on loan.
Makoto Nakamura
September 2024 End of month odds - 6th - 33-1 A great start to the season as we go to the semi-final of the cup and face Temperley and we're in 2nd in the league after 7 games, all of this with our first choice goalkeeper being out injured!
Makoto Nakamura
October 2024 End of month odds - 6th - 33-1 Well that de-escalated quickly, we lost to 2nd tier side Temperley in the cup and the only convincing result was against Independiente Rivadavia and, well, you can see how well they're doing...
Makoto Nakamura
November 2024 End of month odds - 6th - 33-1 And we're sticking in 6th although we have the best attack in the league by scoring 40 goals, we're someway off the pace set by Talleres Cba. But at least we're not River.
King Costly
Decent start for you. If you can tighten up a bit at the back, you should well on your way to a very good finish.

Makoto Nakamura
December 2024 End of month odds - 5th - 30-1 Just the 2 games this month but they were 2 much needed wins, we're still in 6th but we have a game in hand on the top 4 which could see us temporarily up to 3rd so for now we're looking good again.
Makoto Nakamura
January 2025 End of month odds - 5th - 6-1 The good form carries on through January with 4 very close games which we ended up getting 10 points from to put us on the same amount of points as Boca and Velez but they both have a game in hand, as do Independiente.
Makoto Nakamura
February 2025 End of month odds - 5th - 6-1 Things are really hotting up now, we started our Copa Libertadores with an easy 5-0 win over Venezuelan side Deportivo Lara which leads us to a really difficult challenge that I don't think we can beat, against Brazilians Atletico Mineiro where we scored an away goal but we're still 2 goals down. In the league our group of 5 have broken away from the pack with 9 games to go it looks like we can again beat our record points haul of 64.
Makoto Nakamura
March 2025 End of month odds - 5th - 6-1 Well this is unexplored territory! With 4 games to go we are top of the league on goal difference and in the Copa Libertadores that away goal was a god send as we won the home leg 2-0 and got through to the group stage where we should get through as Vasco aren't one of the bigger Brazilian sides I don't think. Makoto Nakamura
April 2025 End of month odds - 5th - 6-1 This is it now, crunch time. We're in 2nd on goal difference, just 2 goals behind Boca but 15 goals ahead of Talleres Cba. We've also got one foot in the knockout rounds of the Copa Libertadores again. In the league we face 13th place Godoy Cruz at home and 4th place Velez away, Boca face 19th placed Lanus at home and 10th placed Gimnasia (LP) away whilst Talleres Cba. face 8th placed Huracan at home and 14th placed Instituto away from home. Boca have the easiest matches but it's still all to play for.
Makoto Nakamura
End of Season 2024/25 So the league isn't decided on goal difference, I think if 2 teams have the same amount of points then the league is decided by a one-off match. God knows what happens if 3 teams have the same amount of points! But ultimately we lost and also lost the final 2 Copa Libertadores games, we still made it through but we face Boca. Yay. Key Players: Lucas Alaniz (YP6b) - Miguel Ángel González - Juan Cruz Komar Best YP Development: Julián Guiñazú (YP6a) - Julián Civelli (YP6c) Lucas Vega (YP7a) - Fabrizio Andrada (YP7b) - Rodolfo Baglivo (YP7c) - Marcos Lovisa (YP7d) Gonzalo Villalba (YP8a) - David Alonso (YP8b) - Ignacio Franco (YP8c) - Diego Reynoso (YP8d) I have one year left on my contract and I'm unsure whether to renew it or not, there isn't a lot of money in Argentina so I'm already losing Lucas Alaniz (YP6b) to Flamengo in Brazil for £2.3m which went over my head so maybe I look for somewhere with more money available, I'm not sure yet. Makoto Nakamura
2025/26 Youth Candidates We had a DC come through It's worrying that he's already the 5th best DC at the club...it just shows how bad our quality at the back is!
Makoto Nakamura
2025/26 Pre-Season Well one of those expectations has already been met and hopefully, even with a woeful defence we can stay around the top of the league. Another poor pre-season but who cares, we beat Boca on aggregate and face Rosario Central in the Copa Libertadores Quarter Final!! Quite a lot of money made but I'm not happy Alaniz was the starting DL, Robledo was the backup DL who refused to sign a new contract and Komar was 1st choice DC who's transfer went over my head. Not good.
Makoto Nakamura
September 2025 End of month odds - 6th- 33-1 We're doing poorly in the league, we just need to turn those draws into wins and if we win our games in hand then we'd be up to 5th so maybe it isn't looking too bad. This is because we're through to the Copa Argentina Semi-Final where we face River and it looks like we'll be in the Copa Libertadores Semi-Final as well!
