Well after the home draw with Scottish League One side Greenock Morton we've gone to 4-4-2 and since then we've not conceded a single goal and we're fighting Inverness for the last Europa League spot! The media expect 8th but I want top 6 again. Burnley are in the Premier League so I am keeping my options open. Makoto Nakamura Posted September 18, 2016 Author Share Posted September 18, 2016 September 2034 We did as well as I would have expected in losing to both Arsenal and Liverpool and beating Stoke whilst for the 2nd time we relied on an own goal in the League Cup as we won 2-0 on penalties and we face West Ham at home in the 4th Round. We definitely had the least in terms of resources as we were spending £36.71m p/a on wages with Sheffield Wednesday being next lowest spending £42.44m. For us to be "out of the relegation zone" on wages we'd need to be spending £49m for 17th and £59m for 16th! Yep, current chairman is Greek Gerasimos Dalmiras and he's been chairman since 2031, I was also the 4th manager since he took over. Before him Burnley had had 5 managers from 2015-2031.
