Wales v Belgium | Quarter Final | BBC1 20.00

Recommended Posts

Could be a very long 20 minutes for Wales here, all one way at the moment.

Come on Wales get the ball and get some possession.

Also Ramsey just got booked which means he's out of the semi... that could be key, he's been immense.

Bale needs to step up to the plate.

Got to say getting booked twice in 5 games should not rule you out of a semi final for crying out loud

Fellaini as a no 10 however...

Ramsey missing a match for two bookings in five. Wtf is that rule about?

Every time a tournaments comes around we are reminded of the terrible yellow card rules.

Nothing against Wales but please let this go to 120 minutes. One of the greatest matches to watch in the whole Euros so far.

im sure someone on one of these threads mentioned that yellows got reset after the 16s?

Reset after the semi-finals I believe. So nobody misses out on the final.

It's after the 8's

This ref is genuinely useless. Giving us yellow cards for nothing, but every time we go out and do a proper foul, he gives us the decision.

Madness.

Before the semi so no one on a yellow can miss the final if the pick up another yellow in the semi.

Reset BEFORE the semi finals, for that reason

Reset after the quarters so players miss the semis but only a red in the semi means you miss out on the final.

And again :D

Seriously, this ref shouldn't be near a match like this.

Got to say I love Robbie savages commentary. Not at all biased and calls it all how he sees it without any apparent desire for agenda or story or controversy

Used to reset cautions after the groupstage or last 16 but then people bitched about players missing the final due to accumulated cautions and thus both FIFA and UEFA changed it so that it resets after the QF and thus you need to get sent-off in the semi to miss the final. IMO it's a crappy change but it came about due to complaints so maybe it can go away for the same reasons.

I guess the ref decided the fairest would be to give everything to Belgium in the first half and everything to Wales in the second.

I guess that is fair, right? :D
