In game ECHL injured players not counted to rosters limit but would be nice if we can send them to IR like in NHL, KHL. ECHL teams can have an unlimited number of players on the 21-day injured reserve. When placing a player on the 21-day injured reserve retroactive to his injury, a Member may go back a maximum of three (3) days, including and beginning with the current day, or to the first day after the Player's last game played, whichever is less. A Member may not count the date of the game in which the Player was injured as the first day of his IR. Once placed on the injured reserve, the Player must remain on the IR for a minimum of 21 days. A Player that is transferred from the Reserve List to the Injured Reserve shall not be credited with any time served towards the required number of days, apart from the allowable three-day backdating. Players on injured reserve may not skate in any pregame warm-up. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
SI Staff Riz Remes Posted December 23, 2015 SI Staff Share Posted December 23, 2015 It was setup in the rules but due to a glitch in the code that was looking up the injured reserve rules, it was not being picked up.
