[1.0.0f] Asia Ice Hockey League Rules

Recommended Posts

I get full information about import rules for Asia Ice Hockey League from EP Steven Wills.

"The Japanese players do not count as imports for the China Dragon team. In fact they are on loan to the Dragon as a way to help improve the team. It's an agreement between the Tohoku Freeblades and China Dragon.

Players from countries which have teams in the league do not count as imports on other teams. For example Kang Yoon-Seok was born in South Korea, but plays for the Nikko Icebucks of Japan so he doesn't count as an import. Only players from non-league countries count as imports and if they take citizenship of a league country they are no longer imports.

Anyang Halla and High1 have 4 players between them that were born in Canada and the US but have Korean citizenship so they are no longer imports.

As for import limits. The Dragon are still allowed multiple imports because they are in such bad shape but they've been limiting themselves to 3 since they struck the deal with Tohoku.

The Japanese teams were supposed to be limited to two over time but they use 3 as do the Korean teams. Daemyung Sangmu is the Korean military team that uses Korean men only. They get their players from Halla, high1 and Korean college teams. "

Summarize we just need to fix in rules:

- do not count Japan players as imports (they are counted in China Dragon and Sakhalin Sea Lions as FGN)

- limit Daemyung Sangmu to use only Korean players (if it will be possible)

Thanks. :)

Probably best if Daemyung were made unplayable to save confusion, or limit to Korean only, yeah.
