dafuge
Internazionale - Serie A TIM - 2057/58 Last season was a success as I avoided relegation finishing comfortably in mid table, then there was the huge bonus of winning the Europa League. This season the board expected a league title. League Table - the board must have know something I didn't as we raced into a lead that Juventus ran out of time to chase down. UEFA Super Cup - we were destroyed by my previous club. TIM Cup - we had a good run, despite using the squad players. UEFA Champions League - we were so lucky to get out of the group, but our luck ended there. Squad - the balance is far better than last season, but there are still lots of potential for improvement. Transfers - it put us in debt, but these signings were crucial to our season. Finances - doesn't look great, but I splashed out on the transfers. Key Player Profiles: Antonio Di Gianluca - top scorer again, just. Rouven Engelbrecht - signed as backup, but played a key role. Samuele Bonfanti - a really important player. Alessio Di Marzio - the big money signing. Stefan Friedemann - the winger had a stunning season. dafuge
Highly controversial, but I'm quite excited about this opportunity. Club - an enormous club, but they have been living in the shadows of Real Madrid. Facilities - the facilities could do with improving. Finances - decent finances, but not super rich. Squad - I was expecting better, I may need to rebuild the entire squad. League Table - there's a huge gap to the unbeaten Real Madrid, my challenge is to win their first title since 2029. I've signed for two years, but I may try and stay for longer if we are still behind Real Madrid. Playing away in El Clásico in the Dafuge Arena will be a bit awkward! Carninho
I was getting a little tired of the thread while you were winning in Madrid for years and the fact you were able to beat them in the Champions League threw in some extra interest. the Inter job made me think at you just need to turn up at any top club and the league is yours, so I was hoping that you'd take a job at a lower ranked club in need of a lot of help, or maybe activate another league (such as Scotland and take a smaller club to the Champions League). HOWEVER I'm so hooked into this Barce story. It makes all those years spent in Madrid so worthwhile as you now need to take on your biggest creation. If you get to the stage where you get a new stadium I think you will need to broadcast the news feed live, as may of us will not be able to cope. It will be like Christmas Eve was for me as a young kid.

It will be like Christmas Eve was for me as a young kid. I must admit, I was a bit disappointed with how the Inter job went (and maybe the West Ham job). I quite liked the pressure of facing the sack, I was almost hoping one of those job would turn out as a disaster. My next club was supposed to be a smaller club that gave me a tough time, but I thought I'd try a cheeky application for the Barca job, expecting to be sent packing. It makes no sense at all, but it'll be fun.

dafuge
FC Barcelona - Liga BBVA - 2058/59 After making the unthinkable move to the rivals of the club that built a stadium in my name I had plans to win a title for the first time in 30 years for the club. League Table - this was not expected. We only won 5 more points than last season, but Real Madrid were 28 points short. It should be a lot closer next season. Copa del Rey - I played a string side in the semi final, but came up short against Real Madrid in both matches. UEFA Champions League - we were strong in the group stage but incredibly lucky in the knockout rounds. Our home form saved us in every round which took us to a final where we won on penalties. Retaining this next season will not be easy. Squad - there were enough great players already here so all I had to do was add a few new key signings. Transfers - the three big signings went straight into the first team and made a huge difference. Finances - huge debt, but hopefully the TV money will take care of this. Key Player Profiles: Darío Garrido - top scorer. Driss Haddad - probably our best striker, played in the supporting role. Thierry Lemercier - my big money signing and our most valuable player. Ivan Volkov - not really rated by the coaches, but he had a great season. Mattia Mantovani - his huge wages stopped me renewing his contract, but he's been a useful player. I'm interested in your tactics, I remember you saying you've used the same tactic throughout your career, and judging by your success here (we'll ignore Concord ) it seems to be very effective. How do you have the training set up, like do you have each player training in the specific role you see them in, etc

dafuge
FC Barcelona - Liga BBVA - 2059/60 A league and Champions League double made it look like job done, but Real Madrid had a lot of room for improvement. League Table - I've no idea how this happened. Supercopa - I got the win at Dafuge Arena, but then lost it at home. UEFA Super Cup - once again, we lost to our rivals. FIFA Club World Cup - it took extra time to win this. Copa del Rey - we avoided our rivals on the way to the cup win. UEFA Champions League - our home form saved us again as we won a close final. Squad - there's a few older players, but the squad is in great shape. Transfers - I spent big on young players, which should set us up for the future. Finances - this doesn't look good, but we have the potential to fix it. Key Player Profiles: Darío Garrido - top scorer again. Driss Haddad - the supporting striker. Thierry Lemercier - our most valuable player. Paul Kuhn - an impressive young winger. Jochen Eder - a great young right back. dafuge
FC Barcelona - Liga BBVA - 2060/61 Last season I paid the price of prioritising the Champions League as we slipped to third in the league. This season I needed to make up for it. League Table - we absolutely cruised it, with last season's winners Tenerife down in 7th. They did however manage to beat Real Madrid in the Europa League final to qualify for the Champions League. Supercopa - we edged past league champions Tenerife in both legs. UEFA Super Cup - we lost to my old club as the Germans won on penalties. FIFA Club World Cup - two comfortable wins over the opposition from the Americas. Copa del Rey - our fringe players made a mess of this one. UEFA Champions League - aiming to make it three in a row, we fell at the final hurdle. Squad - the squad is perfectly balanced, now it is just a case of replacing the older players. Transfers - older players were sold in favour of younger ones. Finances - we made a profit, but I'll need to hold back on the transfers to really sort the finances out. Key Player Profiles: Darío Garrido - top scorer again, but it was close. Waltinho - the backup striker made a great case for a first team spot. Paul Kuhn - he's becoming a quality winger. Jochen Eder - the young right back has become a key player. Thierry Lemercier - a superb winger. dafuge
Amazing work matey well done. Where to next after Barcelona? I'm not sure really. My original plan after leaving Real Madrid was to start taking jobs at progressively smaller clubs, but that went out of the window when I took the Barca job. I quite like the idea of both clubs having stadia named after me, I might stick around and see if that happens.

dafuge
FC Barcelona - Liga BBVA - 2061/62 Last season we won the league, the season before we won the Champions League. This season I was hoping to do both. League Table - we cruised it, even with the younger player featuring regularly. Supercopa - two routine wins. Copa del Rey - everything was going well, then we had a shocker. UEFA Champions League - an unbeaten season as we lifted the trophy for the third time in four years. Squad - the squad is close to being perfect, I just have a couple of transfers in mind. Transfers - a lot of our big names were sold in favour of younger signings. Finances - I've finally got the finances under control. Key Player Profiles: Driss Haddad - top scorer. Waltinho - the supporting striker. Thierry Lemercier - the winger had a great season. Jochen Eder - our most valuable player. Gilbert Moreau - a January signing who could make a big impact next season. Here I am, not looking too bad for 83. I didn't load the Scottish leagues, and I've not got any plans to add new leagues to this save at this point.
