Flashmus
Hi there! My question is: Why is there no compensation payment when a NHL team sign from a SHL team? There is an existing agreement between SHL and NHL as of today. The following payment structure: First 10 players: 240 000 USD Eleventh and so on: 325 000 USD I think there is a some kind of formula which say how much of these money that goes to each of the players former clubs but im not sure. Maybe I got it all wrong but I will remember this was a feature in the 2007 game, right or wrong? Because of this missing feature there is no idea to invest any money in youth players for your team, as fast they have a good season they will go for free to NHL. and thx to this, atleast for me, it will destroyin the fun to take over a SHL team. PS.Im not sure if there has been a thread about this earlier, did a fast search but couldnt find anything
SI Staff Riz Remes Posted October 8, 2015 SI Staff Share Posted October 8, 2015 Yes, there is a feature to pay generic compensation based on draft position to European teams when an NHL team signs a player, however there are no specific news about it currently so it is not really that noticeable. I'll try and see if we can setup some more info in the game on this.
