ddidiodion
So you think taking off Fellaini and bringing on Powell was the correct thing to do? No point continuing this then. I know we weren't going to win by playing the way we were with Fellaini. Changing it is a no-brainer and our options are very limited. But the other plan is working? We have no plan A or B,C. We are lucky to be in the position we are in. See above.
oasisi
We have about 10 players out. What do you suggest? You can only register 25. The only shocker was that we didn't sign a CB or LB in the summer Even with the other 10 fit, we are struggling to deceive.

We can't even get the ball.

Tony7
I think united been very unlucky. LVG needs to be given time he's a great manager, I would like to see him given at least another 3 years.
ddidiodion
Good comeback there. 17 goals in 20 games for Hernandez. You should be happy for him, he's found his level. Clearly doesn't enjoy the pressure of being at United.

Bradz FM
Fellaini was dog **** all game bar the flukey goal. Serious over reactions in here. We keep the ball, its boring. We try go for it with a weak depleted side and its why can't we keep the ball

Rio_V
There's no footballing reason. Says it all. There isn't. We dumped about 10 professional players so that we could have stats like Powell on for Fellaini????? What must the rest of the coaching staff be thinking? We try go for it with a weak depleted side and its why can't we keep the ball But the side is weak, depleted and inexperienced because we dumped a bunch of players that could actually help. oasisi
Yes Fellaini scored, Yes he probably was our best player. And I think that sum's up our problem.

Redshift
I quite liked Borthwick's physicality tbh. Almost everything else about the game was a horror show though. We just slowly lost all influence on the game over time. So weak. And those subs. WTF is going on?
ddidiodion
54 as a sub. Which he stopped being good at as well. Our problem is we struggle to break down teams who defend deep, I can't think of a striker who would be less suited to playing in that situation. Well, apart from Rooney. Andrew_
Another ******** excuse. He's a goal scorer. Get the ball in and around the box and he'll score goals. GrimaH
Borthwick Jackson was a horror show how is anyone thinking his performance was defensible? He passed the ball straight to the opposition half the time, lost the chase for the ball the rest of the time, didn't know what he was doing or where he was supposed to be and was generally absolutely terrible. He was basically their 12th man on the left.

Love this idea that he needs a team defending on the half way line to do anything Well he hasn't exactly a great goalscorer for anyone since 2011, so that's not really true. Like I said, be glad he's found his level and is having a good run of form.

We try go for it with a weak depleted side and its why can't we keep the ball Other sides have depleted sides & get on with it, like Bournemouth with small resources who lose their best striker for the season. Arsenal have been decimated with injuries. The owners will soon take note once we start sliding down the league & fans, particularly from abroad start looking elsewhere. That's what finished Moyes. At least he wasn't arrogant like this clown.

Sheps.
Seriously starting to question what on earth van Gaal is playing at. Bringing on a reserve level player at best, who then went on to have absolutely no impact, taking off our only threat, and leaving Ashley Young on the bench. Just really ****ing poor decision making. End of the first half we looked like we could go on to win, second half we weren't even close.
JJ72
Young not coming on for the second successive game is very odd. Mata looks completely fed up with the whole situation and that's more worrying,

Icondacarver
Giggs is scheming as we speak, LvG will be lucky to make it to spring City, Arsenal are nailed on for spots. Spurs look a mile above us and Liverpool are picking up....also don't think the gap between us is so big not fear Chelsea and then there is Leicester.
