Icelander83
God damn LvG banning forwards from going into the 6 yard box and burying crosses like Darmian provided
Ohanzee
What good would Shaw be when no one is even trying to get on the end of crosses like the one Darmian made there. Not one person attacking the goal.
Timmy Howard
Wilson just scored for Brighton. A wonder goal by all accounts

Icelander83
How many chances do we want to **** away exactly? It's all the fault of LvG and his philosophy Prepping every game as if we're playing Barcelona and Real Madrid away in a double header

Rio_V
Amazing what happens when we are quick and deliberate against a weaker side. Chances!

Pangaea
Can't exactly blame the lack of chances / attacking football in this game. We must have had about 20 shots by now, and some of those are pretty big ones too.
Icelander83
Never to worry lads, this is still the fault of LvG only this time it'll be because the strikers spend so much time training tactics that they've forgotten how to shoot

Taz & The Devil
Five goalless draws in 9 games and 7 draws in 10 games. Yes we had chances to win this but overall i just dont think LvG is doing a good enough job. I dont think he will change either.

Bradz FM
21 chances 1 on target. Thought Mata was poor at best today but it was a much improved performance.
GrimaH
Mata was great, he was in the middle of most of the best plays. Lingard though....he just keeps messing up somewhere after some good work and the attack breaks down. Another bore draw.....pathetic, slow, purposeless football! You might want to watch the second half of the match.
Rio_V
And we're missing them. No question about it. Should have put one away. Same can be said for WH but we are the home side and should have been moving the ball quicker all match.

Pangaea
Wilson just scored for Brighton. Excellent stuff. Brighton turned it around in the 2nd half, with Wilson scoring their first. Hopefully the first of many goals for him
ddidiodion
Haha you boys are so rubbish, with our without Rooney Our goalkeeper and defender are better than the entire West Ham team on their own tbh. It's just everything after is a bit dodgy.
Gizzy
We would take a draw before KO so I will take it now.
Redshift
It's fine. 23 games left means 23 draws. That would put us at 52 points, good enough for 9th place last season.
YOUNGSTEVE
At least we have gained on Chelsea who lose again in their relegation encounter.

Gizzy
City losing again today shows us once more that this league is here for the taking. We need a top striker and I'm confident that these draws turn into wins. We need to spend whatever it takes to get one in Jan. But who?

craigcwwe
And things could be worse lads, we could be Chelsea. Averaging a point a game. Three points off the relegation zone as we near the half way point of the season.
RSB
Whenever you're complaining about van Gaal, just remember: At least you didn't hire Mourinho like so many wanted to. Yeah, it'd be unbearable if we had a manger who'd led us to the title last season and was integrating youngsters into the first team, while his replacement wouldn't have the pressure of following success. Looks like van Gaal's joined the legion of supporters who seem to want a world class player in every position before you can judge his managerial abilities - a new striker in addition to the winger he wants? Icondacarver
So Martial is not that striker then?
ddidiodion
So Martial is not that striker then? Of course not, he turned 20 today. Just like Neymar wasn't that striker back in 2011 and Rooney wasn't in 2005. It's not like we already have 5 world class strikers blocking his path, his problem right now is we're so dependent on him we're running him into the ground by over-playing him. He needs a focal point to play off, something Rooney isn't capable of anymore and he needs enough competition to be rested when he's out of form.
ddidiodion
And Mourinho is having a similar situation to Klopp at Dortmund in his last year. Even with his break, you can still be at a club too long. In retrospect he should never have gone back even though he won a title with them. I get the feeling it was a heart over head scenario.
