ddidiodion
I mean it's not like Rooney was doing anything other than missing chances at the moment anyway, I'd fancy Fellaini to put away some of the ones Rooney has missed recently.
Razzler
Razzler...... Oh Razzler. Are you there Razzy boy? Woodward must have given De Gea the interest payments on our debt to make him sign a new deal. Haha, can't have a season of unease over status with DDG in goal. I'll wait for the inevitable leak of the release clause Mendes has played a blinder if DDG does leave in the summer after all

I'll wait for the inevitable leak of the release clause Mendes has played a blinder if DDG does leave in the summer after all As everyone kinda hinted would happen but you were to busy with the "United have dropped a major bollock" line. We get decent money for him and we have the best of the goalkeeping options open to us for this crucial season...... Seems standing our ground worked eh R-Man? ddidiodion
What happens when you place someone on ignore? Do their posts not show or something? Not unless they're quoted, people are pretty good at not quoting Sid now though.
Pangaea
Januzaj getting the last 30 minutes for Dortmund today. Hopefully he gets a good amount of matches there. Still find it a bit bonkers he was loaned out, leaving us so thin, but I hope it will prove a good move for him, and he can come back next season a better player.
Coldberg
It's not Januzaj's position where we are thin on numbers. He's the one player I understand being allowed to leave the club for any length of time.
metal_guitarist
The youth player record is still intact. McNair on the bench: De Gea; Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Shaw; Carrick, Schweinsteiger; Mata, Herrera, Memphis; Fellaini. Subs: Romero, McNair, Rojo, Schneiderlin, Valencia, Young, Martial. Gizzy
Surprised its Carrick and Schweinsteiger, but I guess thats how we will go in big matches. More experience in there than we've had in a long time. Fellaini will have a field day with Lovern and Skrtel in the air. Just hope we don't flight it into him every opportunity we get. He could do to them what Gomis done to us last game. Any word on whats wrong with Rooney?

craigcwwe
Hamstring for Rooney I've read. Surprised to see Carrick start the game after pulling out of the England squad earlier this week.
Icelander83
I can imagine squad number purists going insane with our squads this season Today we have: 1, 7, 8, 12, 16, 17, 21, 23, 27, 31 and 36 starting with 5, 9, 18, 20, 25, 28 and 33 on the bench! 2, 3, 4, 6, 10, 11 nowhere to be seen

ddidiodion
It's because our attacking players are playing like utter crap. Depay has been so hesitant and Mata doesn't seem to want to get caught on camera.

ddidiodion
Throw Martial on at half time. Can't get any worse.Shaw looking good at least... Agreed, although can't help feel he's only looking good because he has acres of space in front of him to look like he's running at people when in actuality he isn't doing anything. We don't actually have anyone in the team who can beat a man. It's problematic.
Gizzy
Shaw is playing great again. Fellaini is so frustrating. If we are going to play him up there you have to play to his strengths. Get Martial on please.
Andrew_
We're all calling for Martial to come up but what's he coming on to do. There's no service. There's nothing for him.
ddidiodion
This is where we need to switch to 4-4-2, get Martial up top to run off Fellaini and get Young/Depay on the wings.
Pangaea
Pretty sure Fellaini has taken more balls on his chest than we have touches in the box. Zero shots on target so far, from either team. On the edge of my seat here... Depay at least tries (even if little comes off), and Shaw is good again. Liverpool have parked the bus to be fair, but it would help with more players making positive passes, and not just Carrick once in a blue moon. We should be putting this shower of sh**e to the sword. Sid1984
Liverpool are a shower of sh**e but United are also so it doesn't help. Both teams seem to be happy to take a 0-0, no team is even attacking or trying to score.

Rio_V
Exactly what I was thinking. Young is effective because he makes simple decisions and gets us in good positions. Doesn't get enough credit for it. Young should have started with Fellaini in. Instant dividends. Bravo Blind!
