Junior Silver /Grey stars ????

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am just wondering how to interpret the silver/grey stRs that show on my juniors CA?

I understand the Gold star, and the Black 'potential/unscouted' system but have nevr been too sure about the silver ones.

Example, new youth intake, I have a kid with 4.5 silver CA, with 2.5Gold & 1 Black PA star.

have always assumed it refers to his current ability relative to the age group. So a 16yr old who can tear up the junior leagues, but would probably not develop strength enough for big leagues.

Many thanks

Silver Ability star is how good a players current ability is compared to your other youth players, once the current ability star goes gold that means they are being compared to your first team players - Basicaly silver stars just mean the youth players CA is below the half star rating a senior player would get and is just to make it easier to distingush between the abilities of your youth players.
