Football Manager 2015 - Match In-Between Highlights Skin

Like the last couple of versions the match screen we have in Football Manager 2015 is a hybrid TV-Classic view mode where again if there are no hightlights you are left on the pitch view instead of switching back to the last panel you were on, were we are left with a small pop-up giving us some information like the old TV-View widgets.

Thankfully this pop-up is editable, which is what these skins does they resize the pop-up and modifies the content of the panels to show the full panel details where possible.

As with Football Manager 2014 I have modified the panel to use the adaptive panels used elsewhere in the game this means the panel will resize itself depending on what resolution you are using (meaning no editing of the xml file just to get it working) and will also display extra panels if you have the space.

Again to make things easier I have made the mod into a skin which means there are a couple of different versions available depending what skin you are using and what you want:

There are two versions of the mod for each of the Default skins included with FM (Dark version of full FM15 mode and an FMC one for FMC2015 mode) as well as two versions for each of the new Alternative Skins added in patch 15.2 (Light Alternative Full Mode Skin and Dark FMC Skin):

Normal - Maximizes the size of the in-between match highlights panel positioned in the centre of the screen and leaving space for the match feed notifications down the right. (For the FMC version some of the match feed overlays the panel even in this mode as the feed takes up more room in FMC mode).

Wide - Maximizes the size of the in-between match highlights panel, but this time uses up the full width of the screen, this allows for more information to be shown at smaller screen resolutions, but the match feed items when displayed will cover parts of the top right side of the panel.

Outside of the match screen the skins are identical in appearance to the default and offical alternative FM15 skins.

Screenshots show a sample of available views and the panel at different resolutions, each version has the same views and panels enabled.

Installation Instructions:

When you extract the file you have have downloaded you should have one folder (name depends on which verson you have downloaded but should start ibh) and a readme.txt file.

Now copy the folder into your skins folder within your Saving Location, by default this is:

For the full game (or beta):

\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins\

When you load the game up if the skin cache is off the skin should appear in the skins menu (name will depend on version you downloaded but will include the name Match Highlights.

NOTE That FMC skins will only appear when you are playing the FMC mode and normal skins will only appear when playing the normal mode.

If the skin cache is on you'll need to turn it off, exit the Preferences menu and re-enter it and any new skins should appear, if not tick 'Always Reload Skin on Confirm' and change skins, click confirm and go back in and your skin should appear.

How To Use the Skin.

- To switch to a different subpanel (i.e. from Overview to Match Stats) click the drop down arrow on the top right hand corner of each sub panel, this will give you a drop down menu with a choice of views (like the default file, default overivew screen and split view screen). The Match should also automatically pause whilst selecting a new screen.

- The amount of panels that display depends purely on the screen resolution you are playing in, the above screenshots show the rough resolutions at which more panels appear, if you are playing on a small resolution and want more panels then use the wide version of the skin (though the match feed dropdown will cover the right side panel).

How to Apply the Mod to Other Skins

These instructions will assume you have already downloaded and installed the version of the Highlights mod you want to edit.

If you have a downloaded skin (or have one you have created yourself) that you want to add the mod to there are two methods:

1. You can copy the panels and graphics folders (if you are using the FMC version you will only have a panels folder to copy over) of the Match Highlights skin into the folder of the other skin you are using and if prompted replace any existing files, then load FM turn the skin cache off and reload your skin and the mod should now be applied to your skin.

2. Change the parent skin of the Highlights Mod to that of the skin you using.

To do this for the Match Highlights Dark Skin you'd open the 'ibh_dark2015.xml' file located inside the ibh_dark2015 folder and in the xml file locate this line:

<flags id="parent" value="
fm dark
" />

And change it to match the skin you want it to look like.

For example to get it to use the Base Skin as it's parent skin we'd change that line to read:

<flags id="parent" value="
base_dark2015
" />

The name of the skin you enter here is the name of the folder for the skin you want to use, which is located in your skins folder.

Once done load up FM and select the Match Highlights Skin in Football Manager 2015 and it should now look like your choosen skin outside of the matches and use the modified match highlights panels whilst within the match screens.

Note that if doing this causes issues with the skin then you will have to read the advanced instructions for skinners post, as the skin you are using will have modified some of the same files as the mod so you will need to edit some files manually to get the mod working with that skin.

How To Enable Different Views

NOTE: This instructions are the same as for FM2014, though some new views have been added for Football Manager 2015.

These instructions again assume you have already downloaded and installed the version of the Highlights mod you want to edit.

Within the skin I have included various different views that can be shown for each option in each panel, as the game only supports one view for each item per panel enabled at once if you want different views you'll need to enable them.

Below is a list of the different views that are available (note all views may not be available in the FMC mod as it doesn't use some data):

Overview

- Kits/Logos, Score, Team Names shown Top/Bottom.

- Team Names side-by-side only.

- Kits/Logos, Score, Team Names side-by-side.

- Ref, Weather, Attendance Widget.

- Scorers only widget.

- Kits/Logos, Score, Team Names side-by-side, large font *NEW FM2015*

Match Stats

- Customizable classic style list.

- Short Stats.

- Customizable Bar Charts.

- Condensed Match Stats with Bar Chats - NEW for FM2015, though only use if you haven't customized any stats as otherwise it won't work.

Action Zones

- Small version - NEW for FM2015, removed an unneeded extra layer of embedding that was just wasting space.

- Default version.

Formations

- Formation panel with Player Names.

- Formation panel with 2D Icons Only.

- Both Formations side-by-side with Player Names.

Body Language

- Default panel showing name and body language.

- Modified version that adds more stats to the view, condition, rating, goals.

Player Ratings.

- Default stats, fixed so resizes correctly, has classic way of keeping subs on the bench.

- As above option, but with subs showing within the first XI when brought on.

- Version with Body Language (same as option from body language section).

- Full Stats panel, disabled by default as not enough room.

- Both Player Ratings panel also disabled by default as not enough room.

Also includes other panels (feedback, league table, updates etc...) but they have no alternative views available.

To enable the different views you need to edit the 'match in between highlights panel.xml' located in the panels folder for the version of the mod you have downloaded.

To edit this file I reccommend you use Notepad++ or a web editing program that displays the code in colour as it makes it easier to see which parts to edit.

I've added various comments to the file to explain what various bits of code do so it should be fairly simple to edit, these should appear in a green colour if you are using Notepad++

For an example I will show you how to get different versions of the Match Stats panel to show in the Wide FMC Skin.

Firs the In Between Match Highlights Panel is made up of four panels - we have the full size left panel, the full size middle panel and then the two right panels the top one and the bottom one, each of these panels has it's own code that determines what displays in each of them, for example it is possible to set a different version of the match stats panel to appear in each of them (which is what we are going to do).

To edit the Match Stats view on the Left Panel you need to scroll down until you find this section of code (lines 62 -75):

<!-- L2 Floating Match Stats - customizable, classic sytle NEED TO CHOOSE EITHER DEFAULT OR MODIFIED -->

<widget class="match_stats_panel" id="mtst" file="match stats floating">

<translation id="title" translation_id="247439" type="use" value="Match Stats" />

</widget>

<!-- L2 Default Match Stats -->

<!--
<widget class="match_stats_panel" id="mtst" file="match stats overview">

<translation id="title" translation_id="247439" type="use" value="Match Stats" />

</widget>
-->

<!-- L2 Splitview Match Stats (Bar Chart) -->

<!-- <widget class="match_stats_panel" id="mtst" file="match stats">

<translation id="title" translation_id="247439" type="use" value="Match Stats" />

</widget> -->

The first line is commented out and explains what the code below displays, the L2 mark at the start of the line denotes L for the Left Panel and 2 as the Match Stats view is the second item in the list (after the overview screen) now you can only have one of the three match stats views visable for the left panel at one time each of the options are noted by the L2 note on the first line.

At the moment the code in blue is the active code, however we want the second view to display (Default Match Stats) to do this we need to comment out the active mode by adding <!-- to the start of the code and --> to the end so it now looks like this:

<!-- L2 Floating Match Stats - customizable, classic sytle NEED TO CHOOSE EITHER DEFAULT OR MODIFIED -->

<!--
<widget class="match_stats_panel" id="mtst" file="match stats floating">

<translation id="title" translation_id="247439" type="use" value="Match Stats" />

</widget>
-->

Now to enable the second view we need to uncomment out it's code by deleting the <!-- from the second line and the --> from the last line so the code now looks like this:

<!-- L2 Default Match Stats -->

<widget class="match_stats_panel" id="mtst" file="match stats overview">

<translation id="title" translation_id="247439" type="use" value="Match Stats" />

</widget>

Now the code in the file should look like this:

<!-- L2 Floating Match Stats - customizable, classic sytle NEED TO CHOOSE EITHER DEFAULT OR MODIFIED -->

<!-- <widget class="match_stats_panel" id="mtst" file="match stats floating">

<translation id="title" translation_id="247439" type="use" value="Match Stats" />

</widget> -->

<!-- L2 Default Match Stats -->

<widget class="match_stats_panel" id="mtst" file="match stats overview">

<translation id="title" translation_id="247439" type="use" value="Match Stats" />

</widget>

<!-- L2 Splitview Match Stats (Bar Chart) -->

<!-- <widget class="match_stats_panel" id="mtst" file="match stats">

<translation id="title" translation_id="247439" type="use" value="Match Stats" />

</widget> -->

If done right the left panel in the game should now look like this when on the Match Stats View. (In the below screenshot the middle panel shows the initial match stats view):

To adjust the middle panel you need to scroll down until you find the code that starts with an M, so for the Match Stats view look for this line (line 202):

<!-- M2 Floating Match Stats - customizable, classic sytle NEED TO CHOOSE EITHER DEFAULT OR MODIFIED -->

To adjust the top right panel look for lines like this (350):

<!-- TR2 Floating Match Stats - customizable, classic sytle NEED TO CHOOSE EITHER DEFAULT OR MODIFIED -->

To adjust the bottom right panel look for lines like this (489):

<!-- BR2 Floating Match Stats - customizable, classic sytle NEED TO CHOOSE EITHER DEFAULT OR MODIFIED -->

The coding for each of these panels is edited just as you did for the left panel, and the alternative views for the other options are also enabled in the same manner just remember you can only have one view per note enabled at once i.e. only one of the L2 items can be enabled at once but the M2 item can be a different view as long as only one of the M2 views is enabled.

How to Adjust the Size of the Panels

These instructions will assume you have already downloaded and installed the version of the Highlights mod you want to edit.

When creating the mod I set the panel sizes to those that work across a wide variety of resolutions and allow for different views in different panels, however if you are playing at one resolution and know what views you want enabled in each panel it is possible to tweak the size of the panels to suit your preferences.

How to edit the position and size of the full panel.

NOTE: Due to changes in how Football Manager 2015 works to FM2014 these instructions have slightly changed for FM2015.

By default the panel is set to use as much screen space as possible whilst not covering other items, however it is possible to adjust the position of the panel to suit your needs.

First open the 'match in between highlights panel.xml' and locate this section of code near the top of the file:

<!-- Full Panel -->

<!-- Line Below - Offset determines how many pixels panel appears into the screen from the left/right edges of screen, reducing value will widen panel but will hide right corner under match feed [15.1.3]-->

<!-- Line Below - Inset determines how many pixels panel appears into the screen from the top/botto of the screen, reducing value will heighten panel but it will cover bottom notification panel [15.1.3]-->

<!-- Line Below - If changing the inset value you will also have to change the heights of the containers on lines #194 #377 #699 -->

<container class="horizontal_adaptive_container"
inset="40" offset="310
" gap="0" >

This code determines the position of the full panel and as you can see I have added various comments to the file to explain what you need to do to adjust the overall position of the panel.

The offset value on the blue line determines how far from the left/right of the screen the panel appears with it centered in the middle of the screen, the lower the offset value the closer the panel will appear to the sides of the skin, however reducing this value from the preset value in the Dark Skin Mod will result in the Match Feed panel notifications covering part of the right side of the panel.

The inset value on the blue line determines the vertical position of the panel, and again a lower value will push the panel towards the top and bottom of the screen, however setting it any lower than this will cause the panel to cover the scoreboard on the max. screen view.

Due to changes with FM2015 if you wish to lower/raise the panel there is another bit of code you also need to adjust, further down in the xml file you will notice code like this:

<!-- container to create space at bottom of screen so caption popup isn't blocked needs adjusting if changing panel position both mini and default heights must match-->

<container class="plain_box" id="titl"
minimum_height="50"
priority="1"
default_height="50"
>

</container>

This code generates a transparent panel at the bottom of the highlights panel to lift the content of the panel up so it doesn't cover the match caption popup box at the bottom of the screen, you need to adjust the two height values on this line with the above inset line to adjust the height and vetical positioning of the panel.

Note that this code appears three times, once for each subpanel (left, middle and right) so any changes you make to one panel need to be carried out in the other two to keep the bottom of the panel aligned. Also note when adjusting the height values in this code you need to keep both the minimum_height and default_height values the same to stop any problems.

How to edit the sizes of the individual panels

NOTE: These instructions are exactly the same as for the FM2014 version of the mod, though some of the default values have been tweaked to fit better with font changes in FM2015..

Before editing the individual panels you need to understand what the following codes do:

minimum_width/height - this sets the minimum width/height of the panel if the available space is less than this value then the panel won't show.

default_width/height - this is the width/height that the game trys to display the panel at, depending on available space it can appear smaller (to min width as above) or bigger.

Normally for these codes you'd enter a number which corresponds to the number of pixels you want the panel to be, however there is also an option to use a negative number (i.e. -1) the negative sign tells the game to make the panel proportional to the available space with the number determining the ratio.

-1 tells the game to fill the rest of the available space (after it has drawn any panels with actual pixel values) equally between all the panels set to -1. So if you set all three of the horizontal panels to -1 you'd end up with three equal width panels. If you set the right panel to 500 and the other two panels to -1 the right panel would take up 500 pixels and the other two would share the remaning space equally.

If you set the left panel to -2 and the other two panels to -1 then the left panel would take up half the space with the other two panels taking a quarter each. Set the left panel to -3 and leaving the other panels as -1 will see the left panel take 3/5 of the space and the other two panels getting 1/5 each and on.

priority - this tells the game in which order to hide panels if there isn't enough space to show them all, the lower the number the higher the priority so a priority="2" panel will be hidden before a prirority="1" panel.

With the above in mind you can now adjust the panel sizes.

To adjust the left panel locate this code:

<!-- Left Panel TO RESIZE ADJUST MINIMUM_WIDTH AND DEFAULT_WIDTH VALUES-->

<container class="vertical_adaptive_container" id="left"
default_width="-1" minimum_width="300" priority="1"
inset="0" offset="0" gap="0">

The middle panel is adjusted with this code:

<!-- Middle Panel TO ADJUST SIZE EDIT MINIUM_WIDTH AND DEFAULT_WIDTH VALUES-->

<container class="vertical_adaptive_container"
minimum_width="300" default_width="-1" priority="2"
inset="0" offset="0" gap="0">

The coding for the right panel is slightly different as it also has two vertical subpanels, the width of the right panel is controlled by this code:

<!-- Right Split Panel TO ADJUST WIDTH OF THE RIGHT TOP&BOTTOM PANELS ADJUST MIN_WIDTH AND DEFAULT_WIDTH VALUES-->

<container class="vertical_adaptive_container" inset="0" offset="0"
minimum_width="1" default_width="400" priority="3"
gap="0">

Whilst the height of the top part is controlled by this code:

<!-- Top Right Panel - TO ADJUST HEIGHT OF TOP RIGHT PANEL ADJUST VALUES IN BELOW LINE-->

<container class="plain_box" id="titl"
minimum_height="1" priority="3" default_height="380"
>

And the height of the bottom part is controlled by this code:

<!-- Bottom Right Panel - TO ADJUST HEIGHT ALTER VALUES ON BELOW LINE-->

<container class="plain_box"
minimum_height="1" priority="4" default_height="-1
">

As you'll see each panel has a comment above it in the file to denote where the coding for that panel starts.

You now just need to play around with the values until you are happy with sizes, in addition if you want a panel to stay a static size set the minium and default values to the same value.

Instructions for Skinners

The following information is mainly for skinners to inform them what changes this skin makes so they can more easily implement the modifications into their skin, if you are an end user you shouldn't need this information unless you are trying to apply the modification to a skin that won't work with the simple method of applying it to another skin.

The following files are located in the panels folder of the Match Hightlights Skin:

client object browser.xml - this is the file that is most likely to cause problems with applying the mod to other skins, as to move the match feed dropdown back into the corner I had to disable the match help system that is controlled by this file, however this file controls varies other parts of a skin and is likely to be included with most custom skins.

Thankfully the changes I've made to this file are easy to replicate in the 'client object browser.xml' file locate this load of code:

<!-- coloured actions bar image (match)-->

<widget class="picture" id="macb" file="interface/header/match/actionbar" />

<container>

<layout class="arrange_horizontal_attachment" alignment="right, extend" gap="0" offset="0" />

<layout class="stick_to_sides_attachment" alignment="vertical" inset="0" layout_children="true" />

<!-- actions and sections bar -->

<container class="menu_strip" id="acts" appearance="" offset="5" gap="0" default_widget_type="action_button_action" submenu_type="popup_button_actions" separator_type="picture">

<record id="default_widget_properties" />

<record id="submenu_properties" fixed="true">

<event id="click_notification_event" event_id="DMCN" item="NULL" />

<event id="menu_layout_notification_event" event_id="MLNO" />

</record>

<record id="separator_properties" file="dividers/standard/vertical/line" auto_size="horizontal" height="52" />

<record id="more_button_properties" />

</container>

<widget class="help_icon_button" id="hotw" width="60" icon="icons/16px/help">

<translation id="text" translation_id="291316" type="use" value="Help[COMMENT: quick link icon hint]" />

<translation id="hint" translation_id="291316" type="use" value="Help[COMMENT: quick link icon hint]" />

</widget>

And delete or comment out the bolded lines at the bottom, note when locating the mode make sure you are editing the code refers to the match screen (as shown by code on the first two lines) this code should be located near the bottom of the file.

If you don't care about the match feed dropdown not being in the corner and thus covering up the right corner of the panel then you don't need to edit this file or even include it if copying the files over to another skin.

client object viewer selector match.xml - This controls the appearance of the panel background graphic, edited to point to a custom location.

match both formations ibh.xml - Custom file tweaked version of 'match both formations.xml' to remove an extra level of embedding that wasn't needed.

match in between highlights panel.xml - file that controls the what appears, you need this file for the mod to work, or files just make tweaks to improve the appearance of the content.

match incidents overview shirts.xml - Custom file, created to add new overview view with kits/logos side-by-side as not enabled on default files. Works with below file.

match info overview shirts.xml - Same as above.

match team stats table ibh.xml - Custom file, to fix problems with content on the match ratings screens being cut off at certain resolutions.

match team stats ibh.xml - Custom File, combined with above file to fix player ratings screen, set up in classic method of having subs always on the bench.

match team stats ibh pitch top.xml - Custom File, same as above two files but set so subbed players will appear within the first xi.

The following files are located in the graphics\ibh_box folder of the Match Hightlights Skin:

paper.png and paper@2.png are the files that determine the appearance of the panel background, if you want the panel to appear more transparent reduce the opacity of these files.

paper.xml - Edited to reduce the headers of the panels. Rest of the code is same as default file so will use the normal colours assigned rather than you having to manually adjust them.

Graphics are in a custom location for the skin to reduce problems of them overwriting files that might be used elsewhere, files are based on the default files located in boxes\subsection\match\paper so any changes you have made to those files you might want to apply to these aswell,

FMC Skin.

Due to the different appearance of the FMC Mode the following files haven't been included with the FMC version of the mod as they aren't needed:

client object browser.xml

client object viewer selector match.xml

graphics/ibh_box folder

How to Change Kit/Logo & Text Sizes on Overview Screen

NOTE: The method for doing this in Football Manager 2015 is exactly the same as for FM2014.

If you are wanting to change the logos on the Overview Screen to kits then you want to follow the instructions on this page: FM2015 Match Screen Kits Mod

These instructions will assume you have already downloaded and installed the version of the Highlights mod you want to edit.

If you are using the view with the teams arranged vertically (the default view for the left and middle panels) you'll need to edit the 'match incidents small.xml' file.

If you are using the view with the teams arranged horizontally (default view for the bottom right panel) you'll need to edit the 'match incidents overview small.xml' file.

Both of these files will need to be extracted from the panels.fmf file that is installed with the game, if you do not know how to do this then read this guide: FM2015 Guide: How to Extract Default Files & Understand File Structure

If you are using the custom view made for this mod that adds the shirts to the view that arranges the team names horizontally then you'll need to edit the 'match incidents shirts.xml' file

The coding that we need to look at is largely the same regardless of which file you are editing (just the values change), the coding below is from the 'match incidents small'l file.

The first line you need to locate is this one near the top of the file:

<widget class="table" id="tntb" layout="
100,-60,-15
" mode="fill_rows, stripe_rows" auto_size_rows="true" stretch_to_fit_rows="true" row_spacing="0">

The 100 is for the kit/logo picture, -60 is for the team name and -15 is for the score, the only one that should need adjusting is the first number, make this number 10 or 20 pixels greater than the size of the kit/logo. You should only need to play around with the other numbers if you don't have enough room.

If you want to adjust the text size locate this bit of code:

<list id="column_properties">

<record index="0" auto_size="all" />

<record index="1" size="
18
" alignment="left,centre_y" />

<record index="2" alignment="right,centre_y" size="
18
" />

</list>

The second line sets the font size for the Team Name and the third line sets the font size for the Score.

Now to adjust the kit/logo size locate this bit of code:

<!-- stick the icon widget here -->

<container height="
80
" width="
80
" col="0" row="0">

And adjust the values to match your kit size.

Finally if you are editing the font size locate this bit of code:

<widget class="text" id="mitn" col="1" row="0" height="
80
" font="fonts/match_panel_title" />

And adjust the value if need be, you should only need to do this if your font isn't fitting.

You've edited the wrong line you need to edit the line that starts like this:

<widget class="table" id="tntb" layout="100,-60,-15"

It's at the top of the file that one controls the shirt, team name, score line. Looks like you have edited the table at the bottom of the file which controls the score details.

Hi!

I want to share the middle panel into two parts, so that it was like in the right panel. I tried it myself, but did not work.

Please tell me how to do it?

http://3.firepic.org/3/images/2014-11/22/udql94ha8q1d.png

Highlight the content between these lines:

<!-- Middle Panel TO ADJUST SIZE EDIT MINIUM_WIDTH AND DEFAULT_WIDTH VALUES-->

and

<!-- Middle Panel End -->

and delete it.

Now copy all of the code between these lines:

<!-- Right Split Panel TO ADJUST WIDTH OF THE RIGHT TOP&BOTTOM PANELS ADJUST MIN_WIDTH AND DEFAULT_WIDTH VALUES-->

and

<!-- end right panel -->

And paste it below the <!-- end right panel --> line you have just copied.

Now on the pasted code locate this line (there will be of them one for the top panel and one for the bottom panel):

<widget class="match_view_selector_panel" pause_match_on_menu_opening="true" id="selX" default_item="bmin" minimum_width="1" default_width="-1" priority="3" file="client object viewer selector match">

You then need to change the X in the selX bit (where X is a letter - a,b,c or d in original code) to a letter that hasn't already been used for example to sele and self.

The middle panel should now look like the right hand panel.

As you have already edited the file you might only have to do the end bit (changing the id) as the duplicate id in the coding is likely why the bottom panel isn't working,

Thanks a lot for this. One question though. Why is it that even though I commented out the modified formation panels, I still get player names and roles which I don't want to see in formations view? I just want 2D dots and nothing else. "Default Formation panels" seems to be the active one in the xml file and yet names and roles still show up.

Make sure you have edited the code for which side panel you are wanting the formation dots to appear in (left, middle, right top/bottom) also after you have made the changes to the file make sure you have reloaded your skin to get the game to load the changes.

Is it possible to throw in the bars that are inbetween the teams in the panel to the right from FM 2012 into your match stats widget? I really, really miss them and the proper split-view panel.. haven't enjoyed the game since it changed in FM13.

This is what i looking for :p Great job mate :)

Just one question - is it possible to have only one panel instead three? --> a full team stats panel?? /off by default because lack of space/ It's a most important panel for me ;)

One of the cutom views in the xml file for the match stat panel re-enables the bar charts (I think it's the default view set for the left and middle panels)

Yes in the match in between highlights.xml file locate this line:

<!-- Middle Panel TO ADJUST SIZE EDIT MINIUM_WIDTH AND DEFAULT_WIDTH VALUES-->

and then delete everything down to this line near the bottom of the file:

<!-- end right panel -->

That should then leave one panel that should then fill up the full space, then just re-enable the full stats panel for the left panel and you should hopefully have enough space to display it (You can also re-enable the Player Ratings screen if you want as there will now be enough room for that panel to display correctly as well).

You are GOD!! Thanks a lot :)

But if this is possible then i was thinking... Maybe there is a option to cut this view horizontaly (just under first eleven) and add in that space two small panels (left-down and right-down)?

(My English is realy poor so i hope that You understand what i mean)

That should be possible by locating this line:

<!-- Left Panel TO RESIZE ADJUST MINIMUM_WIDTH AND DEFAULT_WIDTH VALUES [15.1.3]-->

and cuting everything from that line to this line:

<!-- Middle Panel End -->

Then highlight the content between and including these lines:

<!-- Bottom Right Panel - TO ADJUST HEIGHT ALTER VALUES ON BELOW LINE-->

And

<!-- end of bottom right panel -->

<!-- container to create space at bottom of screen so caption popup isn't blocked -->

<container class="plain_box" id="titl" minimum_height="50" priority="1" default_height="50">

</container>

And paste the code you previous cut into it's place.

You may then need to clean up the pasted code, at the top of the pasted code paste this in:

<container class="plain_box" minimum_height="1" priority="4" default_height="-1">

and at the bottom paste this in:

</container>

As those bits should set the height of the bottom panels. You'll then need to adjust the minimum_height and default_height values for each of the top vertical panels to get them to the correct size.

Looks like the code will need more tweaking than I thought, unfortantley I don't have the time to look into it further at the moment (though I'll add it to the long list of things for me to have a

look at...)

It's OK bro Thanks anyway

  • 2 weeks later...

Just in time for Christmas I've uploaded versions for each of the Alternative FM2015 Skins that were introduced with patch 15.2, which doubles the amount of Match Highlight Skins - you now have two skins for each of the new Alternative Skins the Light FM2015 Skin and the Dark FMC2015 Skin with each version getting a normal and wide version.

These versions are editable in exactly the same way as the original versions, outside the match screens they are identical in appearance to the Official Alternative Skins, also to make things easier they don't require you to have downloaded the alternative skins via workshop first they should work without needing those skins installed if you are having problems with the Workshop.

Download page in the opening post has links to each of the eight verisons.

Some Screenshots (Though they are near enough identical to the normal versions as the alternative skins haven't really changed the match screens):

I use the adaptive wide version in my skin. On the bottom right i have the match statistics displayed. How do i get it to display the stats as bars rather than numbers?

In the 'match in between highlights panel.xml' file scroll down near the bottom until you come to the BR2 section, and comment out/delete the code for the enabled view and uncomment out the code for which of the bar chart views you want. (Repeat for the other sections if you want the same view in the other panels).

Sorry I don't understand. I want the bottom right panel on the adaptive wide version to display the match stats as bars rather than numbers. Bars with the titles on, I have plenty of space.

I know I'm a pain but any change you can paste the code I need here and tell me what to delete please?

There are detailed instructions on how to change what displays in post #03 - follow them but for the bits commented BR2 rather than L2 as the BR commented code controls the bottom right panel and enable the code that is commented to state it includes bar charts, should be the third view rather than the second view as shown in the example code.

Hi,

Firstly, thanks for the effort you have put into this for everyone.

Secondly, I am not a coding/techy expert by any stretch of the imagination and even the simple stuff (actually just moving the files into the skins folder) seemingly isn't working for me, therefore I would like to ask for some help. Let me tell you where I am with this:

1. All I want is the full player stats to display between the match highlights automatically (why was this option taken away? I didn't play the game last year and after having only played this one for 2 days I'm already starting to want to stop playing this one simply because of this... which I didn't think would be such a big thing)

2. I have downloaded one of the skins from the above link, un-winrar'd it and placed it into the skins folder but it doesn't show up on the list of possible skins list in the game

3. In the preferences section on the user additional interface menu I ticked the 'reload skin when confirming changes' option and it said it was loading the new skins (possibly just referring to re-jigging the current one) then nothing appears in the drop down, just the FM one.

I do think you have explained everything very simply but it still doesn't work for me, and I do have the most up to date version (it says v15.2.1 in the corner) and downloaded the FMC skin as I am playing the full game... so do you have any idea why it won't work?

Once again I really appreciate what you have done for everyone and any help is appreciated.

Thanks

If you are playing a full mode save game you need to download the normal version not the FMC version, the FMC version is only if you are using the FMC mode.

The way the match screens work were changed several years back (FM12 I think?) when the TV and Classic match view modes were merged, I'd guess this was done because for a couple of versions there were problems with the game not always switching screens between highlights.

To enable the full stats follow the instructions in post #03 above, though the full stats screen takes up a load of space so depending on your resolution you might want the wide version for the skin you are using.
