dafuge
Canvey Island - Barclays Premier League - 2067/68 The young squad is still taking time to settle, but this was the time for them to step up. League Table - we went 33 games before defeat. Community Shield - two early goals settled this one. UEFA Super Cup - we had to fight for this one. FIFA Club World Cup - a lot closer than usual. Capital One Cup - no problems. FA Cup - this was a bit less straight forward. UEFA Champions League - undefeated, but a very close final. Transfers - nothing apart from a sale. Squad - strength in all areas, except goalies. Finances - a profit at last. Key Player Profiles: Jan Sedlacek - not his best season as he struggled with injuries. Twan Koppers - with Vásquez injured for a lot of the season, he had his chance in the team. Darió Linares - top scorer, mostly due to the injuries of the others. Robbe Leroy - not rated that highly, but always has an impact. Ziya Özen - a decent winger. dafuge
Canvey Island - Barclays Premier League - 2068/69 The young squad had taken time to settle, but last season they clicked and won the lot. Could we repeat it this year? League Table - like last season, we were unbeaten for a long time but then dropped points at the end of the season. Community Shield - we needed penalties to win this. UEFA Super Cup - an 11 goal thriller! FIFA Club World Cup - this was pretty one sided. Capital One Cup - no problems here. FA Cup - a bit of a shock as Newcastle beat us. UEFA Champions League - we performed miracles against Madrid, but couldn't repeat them against PSG. The run of 28 in a row has ended. Transfers - the troublesome Matheus was sold. Squad - it's hard to improve this squad, but I'll have to try. Finances - a worrying loss. Key Player Profiles: Jan Sedlacek - top scorer, but he's still picking up a lot of injuries. Darió Linares - had a decent season stepping in for injured players. Juan Pablo Vásquez - not his best, but still a decent season. Robbe Leroy - seems to do wonders when needed. Ziya Özen - the brilliant winger. This season we had to win it back. League Table - an unbeaten season, not had one of those for a while. Community Shield - despite the early goals, we struggled to a win. Capital One Cup - Sheffield Wednesday came close to knocking us out. FA Cup - we slipped up at Arsenal, conceding two late goals. UEFA Champions League - a perfect set of wins. Transfers - nothing much. Squad - we've got some good youngsters, but there are also a few older players that will need to be replaced. Finances - no problems. They had one season in the Championship in 2030/31 but currently find themselves up and down between the Conference and Conference South. I don't think Swindon Supermarine play in a league that can be promoted to the Conference South, so there's no history for them.
dafuge
Canvey Island - Barclays Premier League - 2070/71 At the end of last season I made the decision to go to an all-youth policy, with the start of this season being my last chance to sign any new players. League Table - not our best season as our defence looked a little shaky. Community Shield - a fairly comfortable win. UEFA Super Cup - this one was a bit easier thanks to four first half goals. FIFA Club World Cup - after a year off we got back to beating the South Americans. Capital One Cup - just the one goal conceded. FA Cup - I made a huge error in rotating the squad against Championship opposition, we paid the price in extra time. UEFA Champions League - just the one draw as we dominated throughout. Transfers - our final transfer window resulted in just one signing, a brilliant winger. Squad - currently we have 7/24 of our squad produced by our academy. Key Player Profiles: Jan Sedlacek - top scorer again. Twan Koppers - he had a great season, but will probably make way for a home grown player. Ziya Özen - the brilliant winger. Evani Talea - our most valuable player. Stuart Timms - the only new youth product signing, probably best as an AMC but I'm going to train him as the supporting striker. Good to see more academy players in the squad, can you share a screenshot of each of them? Ziga Kramer Ryan Jackson Jimmy Bell Micky Nightingale David Dezon Stuart Timms Here's what I've got so far. dafuge
Interested to see how much he will be used by Utd this season! He wants to leave already after playing just one game so far this season. Still looks decent at 39.
AcidBurn
Not sure if anyone will remember my £75m signing José Luis Plata, but he's back in the Premier League at the age of 38. His mental attributes are a bit, erm, mental Can I see a screen shot of him?

Northernpilgrim
Have really enjoyed this career. You've completed a couple of seasons or so since my last look, glad to see my Plymouth Argyle back in the top flight again and not looking like relegation fodder

dafuge
Canvey Island - Barclays Premier League - 2071/72 Last season I signed my last ever player, so this year was another transitional year of bringing in youth players and selling the older players. League Table - not bad considering I rotated the squad a lot. Community Shield - completely one sided. UEFA Super Cup - we failed to take our chances in this one. FIFA Club World Cup - the usual big win. Capital One Cup - Carlisle ran us close, but that was our only tough match. FA Cup - we left it late in the final. UEFA Champions League - we blew it as Man Utd got lucky in both legs. Squad - 8/24 are youth products now. Key Player Profiles: Jan Sedlacek - a 3 month injury hampered his season. Juan Pablo Vázquez - he kept us going as our only senior striker. Evani Talea - our most valuable player. Ollie Kennedy - a new youth player, will probably end up as a backup. Danny Walker - another new youth player, his potential sounds decent. dafuge
Who holds the record apps for your club? Is it that midfielder? dafuge
Canvey Island - Barclays Premier League - 2072/73 With the squad weakened due to promotion of youth players instead of transfers, we lost out on the Champions League last season. This time I was hopeful we could make up for that. League Table - we cruised to the title, throwing away points by rotating the squad. Community Shield - we made the most of our chances, they didn't. Capital One Cup - we had the final wrapped up after 20 minutes. FA Cup - another comfortable cup final win. UEFA Champions League - we came so close to losing in the final, needing a 91st minute equaliser to take it to extra time. Squad - 10/24 are youth products now. Key Player Profiles: Jan Sedlacek - top scorer. Juan Pablo Vázquez - not far behind Jan. Fábio Duarte - the solid midfielder. Evani Talea - our most valuable player. Zulu - the only youth product signed. He's yet another AMC but I'm retaining him as a winger. noikeee
This is hardly a comment you've ever heard before, but I'll never understand how can you keep going after winning the league for like, 50 years. I don't know whether to be impressed or confused. Still using the 4-4-2 wide diamond with wingers? I looked at a screenie a couple of pages ago of your setup (http://i.imgur.com/Kj94sK9.png) and I'm a little baffled the opposition doesn't just dominate your midfield, you must rely on really good DMs over the years. It's not the kind of tactic I usually play but it seems to result in fun football with lots of goals, so I wonder if you could post your team instructions too? Thanks. It's not really the winning that keeps me interested, it's the long term stuff like transfers and player development. Transitioning to an all-youth squad is a bit of a change at the moment though. I'm still playing with those same tactics, here are the team instructions. I imagine I might struggle playing like this with weaker players.
