Neil Train Posted April 16, 2010 Share Posted April 16, 2010 hi can we re-open this discussion nearly 2 years later? i need to buy a new laptop to take advantage of 2010 which i think is a great improvement on previous versions. how much ram would be ideal these days and at what speed? is the processor most important or the memory for playing fm and (sorry!) fmrte in the background? thanks. i'm looking at the dell inspiron range with an i5 processor and 4gb ddr3 ram @ 1066mhz. probably overkill but i really do love my fm and want it to run fast....... thanks! neil Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Neil Train Posted April 16, 2010 Share Posted April 16, 2010 thanks the game runs with 2gb memory currently but my current setup is slowing. just wondered what would be ideal - a better processor or faster ram speed. i can go up to an i5-520 processor which turbo boosts at 2.93ghz then i'm wondering whether to go for 3gb ram @1333mhz or 4gb ram @1067 mhz Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
