ghhfhfffhh.jpg

On a positive note to get 2nd in the league with 6k to spend is rather good in my eyes unlike alot of teams who have buckets loads to spend.I lost out

in the semi final playoff to the eventual winners foggia

rererererererer.png

Anyway the season is over and its onto the next one now that stu has went up to serie B i am the only one left in this league fingers crossed that

might help me.

Transfer budget of 6k again no money for wages i had to let a load of my younger players go but my first 14/15 is still here managed to get a few players

in on free transfers without much of a wage and a few loans paying no wages. The aim is the playoffs again if we go up its a bonus :)

END OF SEASON REVIEW (2018/19)

Stemma_Pro_Vercelli.jpg

FIXTURES

AaRGJvq.png

E6L1nGm.png

All in all, a successful season. After 10th spot the previous year, I was looking for top six after signing Angel Correa, and we duly delivered, finishing in fifth, sandwiched by Pedro's Pisa and AndyG's Spezia. Our form stayed quite constant throughout, winning a succession of games before a few losses, oiften against the bigger teams. Two exceptions were the runs through February and March, where we were excellent, and the regression to the mean that was April, where we met some big teams and dropped points in following games too, being low on confidence and goals. But I can't complain too much.

WINTER TRANSFERS

er2dKKn.png

You may notice quite a few deals here, especially after my glut of summer spending. For some reason unbeknownst to me, my board gave me ~£30m extra transfer budget in November and January. So I spent it! All except Tielemans were <18 year olds, with huge potential and not ridiculously priced, all but one from Czech Republic, much to the chagrin of AndyG who had earmarked a few of these for himself! I'm sure I will be able to elaborate on these players in seasons to come, with the most promising appearing to be Popelka, Cizek and Richter. I took the opportunity to get Youri Tielemans while I could, he has good stats and usually turns beastly, and would probably never be that cheap again, even at £19m.

Aims for next season have to be to go for top four, and that Champions League place. If I don't get it, I'm sure Pedro or AndyG will. Whoever does will have an excellent head start financially, and with my new stadium still a year away (4K capacity currently), it's important not to fall behind.

After a storming season, where the first loss only came just before xmas when my assistant manager was in charge, we are finally up where we belong! Scoring over 100 goals, winning 27 games out of 42 and winning the league with 11 points after being predicted 14th was a good start healing the wound from our shocking finish last season. We did hit a bad patch again in the later stage of this season as well, but this year I had more of a squad to rotate, and not just 12-13 players to rely on.

Man of the season was no doubt front man, and newly transformed false 9, Stefano Beltrame

27zkrjp.jpg

Beltrame was in blistering form up until newyears, scoring on average a goal per game. Hit a bit of a rough patch as the team degressed, but did finish as the top goalscorer with 26 goals in 25 starts. He also chipped in with a nice 13 assists, which rounded off a splendid season for the 26 year old.

Question will be if he can keep it going in Serie A, but I have hopes that he can handle the stepup in competition. My serie B winning side consisted mostly of on loan players, with a half decent core of Serie B standard players. I have to be shrewd in the transfer market this summer if I am going to achieve my goals this season:

1. Top 10 finish

2. Cup win

These are both objectives in my 5 year plan, but the main goal as ever is to win. We go into every game with the mentality that we are looking for a win. It doesn't matter if it's San Marino at home, or Juventus away, we want to win! I know I have previously been occupied with HOW we win, but that book has been thrown burning out of the window. Now, it's win at all cost. We will hack, slash, claw, fight, tiki-taka, hoof, time-waste and do anything (legally) possible to win every game! Looking forward to a great season of battling it out with the other clan members that currently recide and Serie A, and think it could be a very competitive league in the near future.

Forza Avellino, and bring on the new season!

Alessandro Jacobo - San Marino Calcio

Serie A - 16th Position

The fifth season of PGC15 started really well and we were the highest human after a half-dozen games. As soon as the season dragged on however, we found ourselves slowly slipping down the table. Truth be told, 16th place does not equal a bad season, even if I am a little disappointed after our really strong start. Our formations that served us well in Serie B didn't quite cut it at the highest level and we were overrun both in the centre of midfield and down the flanks. Part of the issue was that I simply did not have the strength in depth to play such an adventurous and risky formation. I need to ensure I have a strong base, upon which I can construct a side that can challenge for a top half position and beyond over the next few seasons. In an attempt to achieve this, I am investing heavily in solid players, rather than loaning from bigger clubs and have developed a selection of much simpler 352 tactical variations.

I have searched high and low for those players who are both good enough and willing to join. That does give me a relatively small pool from which I can select from, but providing I can fight off the interest from rival clubs, I am confident I will have a much stronger side than last season. I have single handedly scoured the squads of the recently relegated and relied heavily on my extensive scouting network to provide me with a shortlist of players. The latter failed miserably, which suggests to me that my Chief Scout isn't doing his job properly. I'll no doubt have to look into this further, and figure our the best way to distribute my scouting staff.

Summer Transfer Window

A very productive few months of dealings saw several players arrive at the club, for around £10m in total. Each of these players (on paper) improves the quality of the first eleven and I have my fingers crossed that they can hit the ground running.

transfers.jpg~320x480

Perhaps the most exciting of those is Borek Dockal, who looks as though he could be integral to our new 5212 formation, spear heading the midfield in a retrained AMC role. Although he is 30 years of age, I am hopeful that I can get 2 productive seasons out of him before his inevitable decline. I am personally targeting a top ten finish, but I would be satisfied with a mid-table position.

With another season over, we still find ourselves down in Serie C/A! This season we managed to get a 3rd spot which meant playoffs! To be honest, I was satisfied with getting PO, since that was my goal for the season, and for a while I considered myself a dark horse for PO, since we didn't always get the neccessary results... In PO we went all the way to the final, where we lost 4 - 3 (agg) to Foggia - after a poor first game, but decent second game.

09-02-15-Screenshot_2.png

Compared to the previous season, what really worked this season was the change in tactics... We completely abandoned our old tactics to instead use two new tactics - Both with a 5 man defence, but one with 3 strikers and one with 1 strikers and 2 wingers. The latter worked wonders with Zigoni and Tallo up front, while the second could have done with some more specialised wingers.

Tallo managed to improve on his 19 goals in the previous season and upped the tally to 30 goals this season, while Zigoni went from 10 goals to 25 goals. These two were free signings when they joined and boy, what an amount of goals I'm getting from them!

What didn't work too well was our defence. In the first half of the season we simply let too many goals in, and at one point it was up to 1.8 in average per game. We were scoring well above that, so we were still getting the points, but this was the major difference between us and the two teams in 1st and 2nd. In the 2nd half of the season, the defence improved after getting 2 decent, experienced DC's in on loan.

09-02-15-Screenshot_4.png

09-02-15-Screenshot_5.png

So, with the dissapointment behind us, we look towards the new season. The board is expecting PO, the media is expecting us to end just outside the PO, but I'm fully expecting us to be an outsider for the title.

So far we've let 11 players go... 5 of them players from the bench or almost... We've signed 9 and 1 on loan... The 1 on loan and one of the others are the 2 DC's that helped stabilize the DC in the second half of the season. Other than those two, the rest are youth players, of which only 1 is probably gonna get some minutes this season.

At LAST!!!! WERE UP!!. After so many heartaches and near misses this season there was no stopping us. We did have a little rocky patch just after the winter break that my Rival Davie giving it the large one but we stayed cool and never lost our heads and just got on with things, This season we drew games instead of losing them so we was always picking up points so we was always able to keep Davies Rabble at a safe distance. Below is the 2nd half of the seasons Results.

9gf3f7.png

Cup

As you can see we lost 6-0 in the 2nd leg of the semi final this was because i thought after being 5-0 up after the first leg i would be ok so to help get one more game in i told the lads i would go on holiday as i'm that kinda geezer, That won't happen again as on this fm you can't take anything for Granted.

SUMMER WINDOW

As Expected after getting out of the league it was going to be a busy summer and i have not stopped in trying to bring in the best players i can find. Below is the summer sigining.

dfhqao.png

Think my best bit of business has to be the signing of my young greek striker Tasidis. At the age of only 20 he already shown in the greek league that he has a eye for goal by baging himself 8 goals in 16 games. With his Value Worth a cool 2.3million already and with him only getting better i have high hopes for him for the season and for years to come. With the beast Avenatti signing a new 5 year deal i am keen to play the 2 of them up front and think i have enough fire power to see myself keep away from the drop.

300fbra.png

2s95ba1.png

2nkt8vb.png

The reason why Avenatti is called the beast. He was out hurt for alot of the season but when he did play he was as good as ever.

SEASON AHEAD.

It's not going to be easy and i will sure as hell wont be doing anything like Ali did, That was just outstanding. The board want a mid table Finish and i dont think that is asking to much as i have some good players at the club and have added some class to it. I look forward in taking on Mike who also went up this season and it was a shame Davie and Jonas were unable not to get up as the points would of come in handy lol.

Anyway thats you upto date on whats been a very good season

More soon

Ancona Fans would like to send a message to Davie and his supports after they failed to catch us and Failed to get up via the playoffs

Monza Calcio

Season Summary 2018-2019

Finally after 3 year's we are going up! From the start of the competition we took are place where we belong 1st place and we stayed there all season long.

Fans we elastic about our season for sure.

g6xHURe.png

Christian Bravo had a great season this year with 23 goals and 14 assists. He won most of all the award in Serie C. For his great display after only being just 1 year at Monza.

EoVduda.png

Some players took the exit at Monza like Deni Milosevic who left monza to join Perugia in Serie B for an amount of 1M. Other players left for free like: Lacazette, Narvaez, Massoni, Silinou ...

Mathias Bossaert came over for free after having a great season here on loan.

He was clear intrested to grow with this club and signed a contract for 3 season's.

r8pummN.png

For the new year our aim is to find a mid-table position an grow in the next year's to become ones again a Serie A team.

AndyF - U.S Leece

Well this season it's all about reaching the play-offs with this the minimum requirement this year coming from the comfy seats.

If I don't achieve this i have no doubt that the Leece board will be terminating my contract and I'll be back to square one. On a plus note with Davie and Jonas storming the other 2 divisions in this section of the league pyramid and them looking like getting promoted things wouldnt be that bad as if I was to be sacked then a team in Serie B awaits, lets hope it doesn't come to that.

expectations.png

So on to the start of this season and it was an impressive start for the southerners as Leece began the campaign with 6 wins in the first seven league games with 17 goals scored and only 3 conceded, combine this with the end of last season and the Serie C Cup Leece were now on an undefeated run of 16 games.

Then a mini crisis started in the next 3 league games versus Cosenza, Real Vicenza and HinterReggio after we totally dominated all areas during these games but were unable to pick up a single point never mind a victory even after a total of 75 shots in the 3 games and running rings around our opponents.

To compound matters even worse another defeat followed as we crashed out of the Serie C Cup losing 4-2 at home to Crotone.

In the final 4 games of this weeks session we started to turn things round and looked like we were getting back to somewhere near our previous form taking 10pts from a possible 12.

first 14_1.png

Transfers

Plenty of comings and goings this summer with 16 arriving (I quickly terminated the contracts of a couple of players thou) and 19 departing making the club a much needed but small profit of £550K with Mamadou Tounkara moving to Atlanta the only player commanding a fee worth noting, leaving for £525K)

summer transfer 19.20.png

My best signing has to be Moussa Dembele, a few season go he was helping Spezia gain promotion to Serie A with 10 goals and last year netted 19 times in 30 games for Brescia in Lega A so I decided to take a punt on the former PSG and Fulham youngster and so far its gone extremely well for the lad.

siena.png

So just a small post now that the transfer window is closed and the season is closing in on the halfway mark.

We're currently lying in 1st in Serie C/A after 14 games with 39 points and a record of 13 wins and 1 defeat. 2nd and 3rd are 9 points behind us, and things are looking great! My team tend to have a dip in form just after the winter break, but I'm hoping the exceptional form this season is the beginning of a new tendencey. We're definitely a good bet for 1st at the moment.

15-02-15-Screenshot_3.png

15-02-15-Screenshot_4.png

With the transfer window closed, here's a round up of the activity... 12 players have moved on and 3 youths have gone out on loan... My 1st choice keeper got injured just before the first games of the season, but PSG came for him shortly after, and he went to them for 675k + future fees...

22 players have joined Siena during the window, of which 10 are on loan, and most of them are just to make sure that we have backups for all positions, since I don't want to miss out on the title due to a lack of players. I had to sign a new GK, since my 1st choice went to PSG, and I was lucky to get a former Seria A keeper on free...

15-02-15-Screenshot_5.png

Below you can see the most interesting signings since my last post... I've only focused on the one's I've bought, and not on the loanees, but there are some serious quality players in my loanees as well.

Finally Spezia manage to make a good start in the league but as is usually the case in football it was a bit of a false dawn with the team hitting a rough patch straight after the first few games. The league is however wide open with some unlikely candidates in the European race and some old pretenders struggling to get into the top 4

a8038849-1a4c-4f56-842a-fa9231a463e3_zpsvhiwtlvt.png 8b33c756-9a67-47ff-9bec-eb25943b06aa_zpsqx4uqtef.png

Its been a mixed bag really some really top performances against roma and Pisa have been some what ruined by some poor performances against Cesena and Pro Vercelli however injurys have played a part and the morale boosting win away at high flying pisa will hopefully push the team on to get a run of good results and push on into the European positions

99e69b94-67a5-4435-88de-1ff2952b4526_zpsjbl9jcmm.png 3ce99c7a-ed5a-44d7-b35a-8ceee562653b_zpsozohpone.png

A tough game away to Pisa with the play being broken up too often by a fussy referee was won in the end after a sublime pass form on loan striker Jackson Martinez was put away by Argentinian international Acosta. Pisa had drawn level when there own superstar striker Albertengo put away a deserved penalty in the 56th minute . Spezia were solid at the back and managed to retain possession well through out the game limiting pisas touches in dangerous positions and stopping there supply to the front men.

Spezias best performance of the season so far was a 3 nil demolition of roma good passing clinical finishing and a lot of heavy pressure on the roma goal was a joy too watch and everything good about this spezia team was on show for the fans to see. after the game the manager commented

" This is what were about if we play like that every week we could win this league theres too many mistakes creeping into our game but todays game was amazing everything went perfectly to plan its days like this that make all the hard work worth while "

35156e0f-0584-471d-847c-a4584c016351_zpsxibnshhu.png

One player making a real difference is the new goalkeeper Diego Jose already a full Brazilian international hes taken the number 1 spot at spezia and some solid performances has kept last years goalkeeper Hazdikic on the bench. His command of his area and shot stopping are a joy to behold and may be the missing link for a defence that was leaking goals all last season

Spezia fans back Gillespie

After yesterday comments from Pisa manager Pedro Nervio Spezia fans have rallied round there managers comments comparing Nervios outburst to Louis van galls infamous press conference where he provided a dossier describing his teams tactics. Local fansites have been making mock ups of pisas tactics poking fun at there inability to score from open play in the game which is sure to fan the flames of this simmering tension between the two managers.

To make matters worse for Nervio and his staff a picture has surfaced of Pisa striker Benzema leaving a nightclub in the early hours of the morning on the evening of the defeat which has added to the rumours and general feeling that if Benzema was too spend more time in training than out enjoying the Pisa nightlife mayby he wouldn't have been shut down so easily by the Spezia defence.

Gillespie had managed to keep quiet on the subject cancelling the days morning press coferance with his assistant saying he was out buying some wine but local news did manage to speak to him outside the training ground later in the afternoon. He was inevitably asked about Nervios comments

" ha what can I say in reply im not too sure how to respond I thought the better team won his team didn't score from open play and I think we limited there chances up front I think if u check the stas aswell we did have more possession than pisa they were flying high early in the season and obviously this defeat was tough for them to take but we had a game plan and stuck too it we know from last season they struggle to defend set pieces and this was again evident and as the game wore on and tiredness began to set in we turned the screw its nice to see a plan come together " Gillespie jokingly added after " Will we share a bottle of wine when we play next ? of course we will don't think well be inviting Karim to join us though "

What a week for the club, a Start that i could of only dreamed of. After 15 games i find myself top of the league, a full 7 clear of 2nd and a massive 11 points clear of 3rd. It's crazy how things have changed at Ancona as the players have seemed to have a tast for winning things, long may that carry on. below shows the madness of what went on

k0st35.png

I not taking anything for granted as we do have a history of cocking things right up but we have to be in with a chance of going up this season.

We are also upto our old tricks in the cup causing shocks with a great 2-1 away win at Serie A side Cesena. The draw sees us away to Lazio who have been very poor this season so maybe we can cause another shock, Watch this space!.

Well thats you upto date on whats been a mad week for me and ANCONA

AndyF - Novara Calcio, Ex Leece

After forgetting to save after a round of games and me not paying attention at the most important time of the game for me, it came as a right pisser to find myself sacked at Leece after failing to attend a board meeting.

So it was a 1000km move to the north west region of Piedmont and to the province of Novara, at this rate ill be clocking up more miles than Davie and I've dropped a right clanger all ready with me taking Japanese nationality (Dont ask, cos I dont know why or how this happened myself) and not being able to speak a word of Italian things are gonna be tough during training to get my ideas across to the team.

So it's looking like another season and the only human in Lega Girone next year so basically I need a complete overhaul of the squad in the summer if i last that long that is. Unless we can start a superb run of form and basically win every game or near as damn it to try sneak into the playoffs via the backdoor but its gonna be miraculous if we achieve this.

The countdown is on 3 more win and we will be up after what as been a season i could of only have dreamed of. We found it a little harder 2nd half of the season but still found ways to get the victorys we needed, and when we was 0-2 down we would somehow come back and get a draw. After all that went on in League C the players have had last found a back bone and are buying into what i am trying to do at this club.

We are not up yet but as you can see from the league tables above we are almost there and this leaves me with alot of work to do this summer. Speaking to Ali i said to him i will need a whole new team in the range of 18 to 20 players easy. I also worry when i look at the likes of kim who has a far better side than me sitting 2nd bottom and finding it very hard first season in the Seria A so there is alot to think about.

We are looking trying to get a session of games going on the sunday, so the 22nd could be the best in Ancona History.

Till then.

It's been an absolute nightmare of a season so far for the wolves of Avellino. An up an down season start was continued with 9 defeats in a row, and a 12 game streak without a win. Conceding way too many goals, and not being able to score has been the story of the season so far really. Just 2 players have managed to average 7.00+ and barely so. I had a goal of finishing top 10 this season, but it seems I have vastly overestimated the quality of my players. Rest assured, there will be a massive clearout and changes next summer, regardless if we stay up or go down.

nz4rvm.jpg

Stefano Beltrame, who ran riot in Serie B last season, has only been able to score 6 goals in 14+4 games in the league so far as well. My top scorer is actually fringe player Thomás, who's not exactly set the league on fire with a measly 9 goals. The main target for the summer is by far to get a big hitter up front. Someone who can score 20+ goals in Serie A, or at least have the potential to do so.

So far I've picked up a few decent youngsters on free for the summer window, but that quality I need to push beyond relegation zone in Serie A seems to elude me. It's really all about knuckling down for the remainder of the season now, and try my best to hold on to our Serie A status, and also to my job.

We're back! And with a new and updated logo as well!

The road travelled

We are the champions of Serie C/A!

24-02-15-Screenshot_11.png

Finally! This was finally the season, where Siena shined! We hit an amazing run, that went for most of the season and secured the title 5 games to go... With the title secured, we then turned our focus to the titles set by Monza the previous season - Most points and most goals scored - Which we both surpassed! We actually went on to set several new records.

- Most team points

- Most team goals

- Highest avg. attendance

- Highest attendance

24-02-15-Screenshot_6.png

24-02-15-Screenshot_12.png

On top of that, our U-20 team won their league the second year in a row, and I won manager of the year in C/A

24-02-15-Screenshot_3.png

24-02-15-Screenshot_13.png

As you can see from below, it was a pretty good season. And the season included the craziest match of all the time I've played FM with a 11-6 win! Followed by an 8-0 win!

24-02-15-Screenshot_8.png

24-02-15-Screenshot_7.png

The main reason for the good season was that I let in fewer goals while scoring a lot more. We scored 3.0 goals per game and let in 1.3, which is a lot better than previous seasons.

24-02-15-Screenshot_9.png

Tallo was once again the top goals scorer, but he wasn't as immense as in previous seasons, and he had to share the title with my MC Peña, who had his best season yet with 16 goals. All in all, I had 6 players who all scored above 10 goals with 5 of them being strikers played in rotation as the top 3.

The road yet to come

So now it's our first season in B, and the board is expecting a respectable position and the media is predicting an 11th place - so what are my expectations?

Well, I'm hoping for a top half finish, but in truth, it all comes down to form and if I can hang on to my players or replace them with equal quality.

I'll return with an update on the transfer window next Monday...

[Minor update]

So, with the transfer window under way, I've lost most of my starting XI from last season and my remaining best AML/ST is out for 6 months... I'm very uncertain about the team, and I really how no idea how we stand compared to last season... For now, I'm hoping my signings will turn out to be decent, but I'm predicting a lower midtable finish now - until proven otherwise perhaps.

A very mixed season for the mighty eagles who at some points looked unbeatable and at others looked like they could play for hours without scoring. A new striker must surely be on the cards for manager Andy Gillespie as his attack looked toothless and predictable for most of the season. Injurys played there part and a change of tactic towards the end of the season didn't help but a really good run of wins towards the end of the season meant spezia finished in the European places and the fans overall are more than happy with there teams efforts this season.

With funds very limited and some key areas needing strengthened its going to be a busy close season for Spezia and the manager will be putting in some late nights before the transfer deadline and first round of games he has already confirmed hes in for a new striker and midfielder with cover also needed up front and at the full back positions. His best piece of transfer business so far might be tieing Bonazolli down for another years loan he was on fire at the end of the season and if not for an unfortunate injury at the end of the season he would have surely helped turn some of the later draws into wins.

AndyF - Novara Calcio

私たちは失敗したように、それは最後のシーズンであることがありませんでした.........

(Apologies for that my new nationalities natural instincts kicked in, why wasn't I paying attention when taking my new profile.)

So it wasn't to be last season as we failed to see any major improvements in the final quarter of the season as we disappointingly finished in 9th place. we really needed to go unbeaten and we were far from capable of achieving this with some disappointing results..

nov summary.png

So the new season has started and the minimum expectations this year from the hierarchy is an above mid table finish..

NOV EXPEC.png

Things didn't get off to best of starts as we unfortunately succumbed to the FM gods in a game we totally dominated going down 2-1 at home against Juve Stabia, a team we didn't manage a win against last season either.

Since then we have gone unbeaten picking up 2 wins in the last 3 games of the week, both of these coming away from home and as you will have seen we currently sit in 10th place after 4 games. I'm hoping for at least the PO's this season if its not automatic so I can hopefully get the fook out of here.

In the Italian Cup we progressed to the 2nd Qualifying Rnd after beating Spal 4-2 in the first round but we were well beaten by Sampdoria by the same scoreline.

Transfers

No cash coming in and not a penny being spent as it was all about free signings, loans going in both directions and players being released. Older players have gone and been replaced with young blood with some potential but nothing major.

What is worrying is that a couple of the players who were already singed on a free by the previous manger are currently not getting any playing time and have been knocking the door voicing their concerns why they aren't getting any playing time. As a result squad harmony has deteriorated over the last 4 games so watch this space for profile number 4 coming to you very soon, I hope lightning doesn't strike twice as many of you will know what happened regarding my departure from Latina.
