Downloaded a previous database and edited some staff changes in it (no cheating, just I can't be bothered re-hiring staff I know I can get every time I start a new game!). I've now dowloaded a new update and want to copy these staff changes over. Merging databases won't work as it breaks the leagues. Roy Race 9 Posted August 20, 2014 Share Posted August 20, 2014 you can use lots of edited files within the game with no issues, so you should be able to use both files(unless there are obvious clashes, see below.....merging files is a big no no as you are aware) the best tip I can give is to have various files so one for staff changes/one for players/ one for clubs etc etc the only problem with using downloaded files is you are not 100% sure of all the changes made....eg I was going to use a great file created to have 2014/15 fixtures however I got issues with it, because the file also included transfers/loans that I wasn't aware of and clashed with my own files Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
