de Vrij and Vlaar will be hammered if they come up against a decent team

Not been impressed by Sneijder today.

I don't think I've ever been impressed by him

Didn't they just play the reigning world champions?

That Spain result was a fluke, if Silva makes it 2-0 then people are talking about how bad the defence are. Holland won't go far with these centre backs. They are relying way too much on two players.

Reasonable performance again but the same frustrations as the Chile game. Not clinical enough and a couple of defensive mistakes(Ryan for the 3rd and Davidson playing RVP onside for the 2nd). What might have been :sigh:

Like Spain? :D
Didn't they just play the reigning world champions?

Meant in a back 4. Definitely need the extra protection of another defender

Uh oh el sid...

Yes?

Booed. The Dutch fans then cheered him to restore the balance.

I may have been kidding.

at least horse face doesn't get to grace the game against Chile, their defence should hopefully be spanked.

Lies! All the local commentator was going on about for the last 10 was that if Spain win we're still alive

Very good match. Shame for Australia as they really went for it, just a couple of individual mistakes that cost them.

Australia played well.

Agreed.

They played well in the first game vs Chile also, except for the first 20 mins.

That game was right up there with the most exciting game of the tournament so far imo.

Some inexperience cost us there for all three of the Dutch goals. Congrats to them I guess though, statistically you play enough games and they had to win one eventually. :D

Very pleased with our performances despite the results. We're on the right track.
