skybluedave
How can you blame FIFA for the world ignoring it? Sure, blame FIFA for it not being used in South Africa, Germany or Japan/South Korea, but how on earth can you blame them for 14 years of Champions League, Premier League, La Liga etc not using it? And how can you blame FIFA for the European Championships, Africa Cup of Nations etc not using it?It is not FIFA's fault in any way, bar the lack of use at 2010, 2006 and 2002. And FWIW, it's also used in Argentina. So it is 'partly FIFA's fault'. Thanks for clearing it up

craigcwwe
Boooo, wanted to check out Salihovic's FK's live in actionI have just read something that says Dzeko is the only Bosnian player who grew up in Bosnia ? Can that be true A lot of the players and their families left the country in the early to mid 90s due to the Bosnian war.
Emersonlfc
Have the commentators correctly called out who's on the ball yet?

JD nawrat
It's part of the reason why Dzeko is regarded as an idol, hero, legend, what have you, in Bosnia. He is your stereotypical Bosnian. He stayed in his homeland and grew up there and as such he is viewed as a hero to the masses in the country. He's more loved than any other player in the team for that reason. Plus he's ****ing great.
BoroPhil
A lot of the players and their families left the country in the early to mid 90s due to the Bosnian war. quite a few played youth football for other countries as well, Begovic for Canada, Pjanic for Luxembourg. Zvonimir Boban
It is partly FIFA's fault though. It's why it's only used in Brazil Bobby Charlton was part of a group that came up with the idea ages ago and the FA just told them where they could stick it. Not sure how that's FIFA's fault. B-Real
quite a few played youth football for other countries as well, Begovic for Canada, Pjanic for Luxembourg. Tino-Sven Sušić used to play for Belgium IRC. edit: Oyeah and let's not forget Haris Medunjanin for The Netherlands. Used to be hyped up pretty bad in the early stages of his career, being compared to Zidane even. Not sure what happened there. Have you ever played Grand Theft Auto? Well done.
