This competition has a nice competitive element to it, in that, not only are you playing for glory among OTF, but you can also enter for cash. During the competition, you must predict each game throughout and the correct score. A correct result (after 90 minutes) scores one point, and a correct result scores you three points (after 90 minutes). During each round of games, you will be allowed to use a NAP (This will double your score for that one game). There will also be various bonus questions which I will get answers for from people before the beginning of the World Cup, these will be worth bonus points for the end of the world cup and will add to your total score. The cash game will be available to all and will run co-currently throughout the game, with exactly the same rules (except the non cash league, and cash league tables will be separated). The entry fee is £10 for this and the prizes will be structured as follows: 0-10 entries: Winner 70% Second place 20% Third Place 10% 10-20 entries Winner 62.5% Second place 17.5% Third place 12.5% Fourth Place 7.5% 20-30 entries Winner 60% Second Place 17.5% Third Place 12.5% Fourth Place 6.25% Fifth Place 3.75% 30+ entries Winner 55% Second Place 16.25% Third place 10% Fourth place 7.5% Fifth Place 6.25% Sixth place 5.00% If you wish to take part in the cash game, please state below. Once you have signed up to this, I will contact you in regards for payment (Via paypal/bank transfer) in due course. If you are playing in the free tournament, skip down to the final three paragraphs, if you're playing in the cash game, read on. It costs £10 to play - prize funds will be detailed on the thread closer to the time as to final amounts. Payment needs to be made to myself over paypal - alex@everson.com or bank transfer [removed], include your username please and what you're paying for! Make sure it's done via Paypal gift so I receive £10. Points are awarded as 1 point for a correct result, and 3 points for predicting a correct score. You'll also get a NAP for each round of games (Except the final and the group stages, where you'll get 0 and 3 respectively). All games will be added up daily, but a league table will only be done at the end of each round of games. Not updated daily (Unless I really have a lot of spare time on my hands by this point!).
