andysafc
We all know that in football one win can change everything, even so though this looks somewhat unfair... http://imageshack.com/a/img854/7796/et1y.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img43/9985/gsil.jpg If you look on the left hand side at the messages, the two are only four messages apart. Even before the last game i was still on a four game unbeaten run with a team who was expected to finish in the bottom half. This is with no money spent at all. CityAndColour
Actually I think that's quite a good representation of the fickleness of the media. DDDDD = no win in five. DDDDW = five matches unbeaten.
andysafc
You make an assumption that we were unbeaten so it must have been draws. Not far wrong but wrong nonetheless. It was actually LWDDD Which I thought was ok for a team in my situation. I was disappointed to get the hint of the sack in that situation. Whilst I agree the media can be fickle and hound a manager I don't think my league position or results were worthy of such talk.
CityAndColour
I wasn't referring to your results, I was just pointing out how different two sets of similar results could be interpreted by the media.
