bullet throw bug

I don't even know if it's a bug but it's really puzzling me.

have two guys who can hit bullet throws but whenever I set them to do it, there's always a short option guy there and they ALWAYS do the whole bullet throw animation before throwing it normally to the short guy.

the throws are set to be taken long long, and there's no player set to provide a short option in the set-piece editor, so yeah, very confused.

am I the only one with this issue?

Nope. Happens to me every time. Only ever seen 1 long throw from my team in 2 seasons.

may I ask where on the pitch the throw in that ended up being short was taken?

Do you have a player set to come short on corners? I think the game interprets the situation as a corner, so players will follow the setting you have on attacking corners. That's what is happening in my game anyway.

That as interesting idea...did you fix the issue by changing that?

Yep, I think it's connected to the short corner setting. I tried the short corner option out for a while and noticed the player I'd set to come short for the corner was doing the same with throw-ins. Changed the corner setting and the thrown-ins changed as well.
