Just a quick note guys, I won't be doing the FM15 Arsenal team thread this year, so 1 of you guys can have a go. I've got too much on at work, responsibilities on the tactics forum and trying to sort out my wedding next year from abroad is not easy!

I can see a lot of people in this thread make good noises about Ozil. I have tried everything for him to replicate some form but he never seems to get a lot of goals or assists. My other attacking midfielders score for fun, Podolski playing IF on the left just scored 37 goals in a season. I have tried Ozil as Attacking Midfielder-Attack and Playmaker-Support/Attack but I can't seem to make him work.

Any advice would be very helpful

need some help finding a ball winning central mid for my second season, getting rid of flamini, im thinking vidal although the guy will cost a fortune, anyone got a cheaper option ?, i really want to stick to youth but i cant really find anyone that ticks all the boxes for me so experience shall be the winner for this position

Hey, great thread. See that some of u guys have signed Varane, cus I simply can't, I even declare intrest in him, he says he wants 2 come, but when I propose the contract, he doesn't even negociate it! frustrating! tips welcomed.

Just want to get some input/suggestions on how you would go about setting up the Starting 11 and the tactics you would use. Right now, I'm 2nd in the Premier League; in the Semi-Finals of the Capital One Cup; in the 4th round of the FA Cup; First Knockout Round of Champions League (have to face Real Madrid)...

I was wondering if people are having the dame problem as i am with tactics. I'm playng as liverpool and my main tactic is 4231 deep. I use sterling out wide. However when i create an alternative tactic for away games which is 3-5-2 without sterling, when i switch back to 4231 deep sterling isn't there but henderson is. Please help

Going to give a review of my arsenal career in the next couple of days, been one of my most enjoyable saves in years, have won everything over 6 seasons and have just been taken over by a tycoon, have a £300 million transfer budget not that I need it.

hi, just wondering if anyone develops joel campbell and how does he turn out? thanks. would like to use him as right winger to cut inside :)

Arsenalthebest seems to be getting a lot out of him, mainly as an AMR or Striker in a 4-2-4 I think :)

I have reached the end of my Arsenal save. Manchester United manager Spalletti had just been sacked after they languished in the bottom half of the table too long and I fancied the rebuilding task. Will keep an eye on the arsenal players and perhaps will even sign a few. Haven't completely left this Arsenal team in a position to dominate for years to come, they lack a few depth at right back, center back, striker and left winger. Will be interesting to see who follows me. Hopefully it is not Spalletti.

I got to the end of my tether with Ozil and sold him to Juve for around £24m before the start of the 2018/19 season. I took over halfway through the 2016/17 season and Arsenal were in mid-table mediocrity and I ended up in 7th. Finished 5th at the end of my first full season but just couldn't coax consistent performances out of him (or Ramsay for that matter).

I'd signed James Rodriguez and Griezemann on bosmans so was happy to move Ozil on and Rodriguez has just broken the assists in a season record and we're just in February so it has worked well. Fans are still annoyed I let him go though!

His performances probably weren't helped by my constant tinkering and trying him in a few different positions but I had better younger players ready to take his place so I cashed in...

Ozil has been immense for me, fans player of year 14/15, 15/16 and 16/17. Premier league player of the year 14/15, 15/16 and 16/17. World player of year runner up twice. In just under 4 1/2 seasons hes scored 85 and 99 assists. Play him as an advanced playmaker just behind the striker.

Complete my current season with Manchester United, finishing 6th. Whereas Arsenal finshed 3rd, 2 points behind - Tottenham. :lol:

Ricardo Moniz took over from me after leaving Lyon. The former spurs coach the proceeded to ruin my frugal approach to splash £55m on Sterling and Corchia (£38.5m & £16.5m). He reverted to a 4-4-1-1 formation and dropped Woj as number 1 and promoted Benoit Costil. HE did manage to bring out the best in Sanogo though with him hitting 22 goals in all competitions. :D

Yaya's Record

Might try poach him away. His squad status is only backup so he might not even cost much. Will attempt to also poach a couple of other players such as Gnabry, Bellerin, Zelalem or Crowley to continue their development.

Hello all, I think this could also go on the "Funny Screenshots" thread but thought I would put it here.. I'm on my 4th season and am now the England manager as well as Arsenal. So I got this when going for a private chat internationally with Jack, made me chuckle.

There's a new update at sortitoutsi.net that's constantly updated. I believe LFCMarshall has one due next weekend if you fancy an alternative

Oxlade-Chamberlain always develops well for me. I like getting his dribbling and mentals up a bit, but his directness is always a major plus for me. An intelligent winger, takes players on, puts in a shift when I need him to, has a mix of pace and strength where required, and as O-zil says - 2 footed as well. Great player. Just give him game time and he will develop.

Totally agree with everyone else but I have also had great success with him as a centre mid too.

Likewise, always get rid of walcott in the 2nd season in order for him to develop. Retrained him as an accomplished striker and the AI managed Arsenal generally rotates him with Ozil (also accomplished) up top.

I retrained Özil as a Striker on one save and he was superb as 1 of 2 up front as a False 9 (& sometimes Deep Lying too)
