ProddingAHoneyBadger
[video=youtube;OGnNlQ-KNv4] FM Version: -FM 10, with 10.2 patch Database: -Small, 15,000 players Leagues Loaded: - England - Level 10 Why am I doing this in Football Manager 2010? Because to me it was a simpler, more straightforward sort of game, I could have tried it on FMC but I don't know what the youth would be like on there so I went back to FM10, before the Dynamic Reputation and before the Youth Candidates, Youth Levels & Junior Coaching making this an even harder challenge than it is nowadays as the only person who came any where near close to completing this off the top of my head was hrbfcrule with IK Tord in FM11 which has drawn a lot of inspiration. What Wikipedia says about Stone Dominoes: The club was established in 1987 and joined the Midland League Division Two in 1995. They reached the 5th round of the FA Vase in 2003–04 season. They joined the North West Counties League in 2000, but resigned at the end of the 2012–13 season. Their home ground is Wellbeing Park (Formerly Springbank Stadium). In 2008 they signed comedy actor Ralf Little as one of their players. The club has 22 teams with players (boys and girls) from age 4 to adult representing the club. ProddingAHoneyBadger
August 2009 League: Stone Dominoes 1 - 0 Atherton Collieries A good 1-0 win with Rob Cook giving me the first goal of my career in the 66th minute sealing the win. League: Stone Dominoes 3 - 0 AFC Liverpool I was expecting a great deal more difficulty from a strong looking AFC Liverpool side, all 3 goals were scored in an exciting first 30 minutes, the following 60 minutes absolutely nothing happened. Terry Jones netted the first, a bizarre own goal from James Cousins gave us a 2nd after 22 minutes by passing the ball back to the goalkeeper and the goalkeeper decided not to go and get it so the ball went straight into the net. Aaron Gibb scored the third in the 28th minute and Rob Cook managed to miss a penalty in the 38th minute. League: Barnoldswick Town 0 - 1 Stone Dominoes The unbeaten run continues into a 3rd game with a rather nervy win against Barnoldswick Town with Rob Cook scoring the only goal in the 22nd minute. I'm hoping for a 3rd but I think this will be too much of a step up, I noticed Newcastle Town and thought you may take an interest. Morgan has very good physicals for that level. Well done on your 2 titles, i'm a bit worried that you aren't scoring enough goals so hoping for a better striker in your next intake Thanks Dexter, I think most youth players at this level have good physicals, it's just everything else is shocking, it's a shame we're getting no outstanding youth in any position that's attacking, we just get good defenders. Youth Players Dylan Morgan (YP1a) - Played 50 games this season and was very solid in the centre of defence. Paul Lee (YP1b) - Scored 5 goals in 45 games, all the strikers were awful though as the top scorer only had 8. Jeff Clare (YP2a) - A beast at the back, an average rating of 7.63 and a massive 20 MoM awards in his first season! Tommy Scaife (YP2b) - Will probably be no better than a backup/rotation player now, didn't impress in his first season. Finances - Finances evened out and didn't really change too much this season, which is good.
